Great list - thanks for all the recommendations! The Fish Lips Kiss heel is on my list to try this summer as well!
I also want to try toe up socks. The heel placement seems a little intimidating to me, but I won't know if I like it unless I try it!

Thanks for this video and all the nice pattern suggestions. ❤️ If you still need ideas for colorwork socks, I like the Easy Peasy Socks by Karolina Adamczyk and the Stylissimo by Daniela Mühlbauer. Maybe you like one of them too. The first pattern is absolutely beginner suitable, because you do not even have to catch floats. I‘ve tried to link the patterns, but when I did that my comment disappeared. This is my third try. 😂

I, too, am into summer sock knitting. I am working on a folded cuff shortie sock. I am not sure how I feel about it, though. I will see how they feel to wear. I would like to try some different patterns, but l love basic vanilla socks. I am working through 8 pairs for gifting at Christmas. I just started the fourth pair, so I feel good about that. My goal is to have 3 socks going at all times this summer. ❤

I have the colored palette sock pattern saved in my faves too. It looks so yummy! I cant wait to see and hear how that fish lip (??) Heel works out. I may have to try it.
I have yet to try the FLK heel but will keep everyone posted when I try it!

I loved making the Crunkled Socks (Kay Jones from the Bakery Bears) and for DK, Rye by tincanknits fits some texture fun for DK. I am currently doing Trailing Roses socks by Dana Rae Makes. I enjoy having a sock project on the needles to have for travel, etc if I don’t want to pack a larger project in process

Great video! I knit lots of socks too! I highly recommend crazy sock lady’s heel toe do si do for your self striping yarn. I think it’s the best pattern ever for self striping yarn! It looks complicated and fancy but very easy to make. Thanks for your videos, they are really great!

I love how you’ve decided to do different categories of socks for Summer Sock Camp! It makes it fun! The crazy sock lady has an excellent cut in after thought heel tutorial. Another heel that I think is so beautiful is the eye of the partridge heel. Michaeli Marler (I’m sorry if I got her name wrong) has a few sock patterns out. I know one of them uses that heel. She dyes yarn and has a shop called Breaking Yarn, based on the Breaking Bad series.
