Nikki, one thing I like about your channel is there is nothing here that I would be embarrassed to tell my wife about. Unlike some other similar channels that are essentially soft-core porn, your adventures have a family friendly quality. I respect you have kept the family nature for your channel. I really love how it feels living in a van and exploring the world, but we got tons of work to do and so much pressure from all aspects, somehow we cannot live the way we want. By simple watching you, it is like an alternative to experience through your lens.

Cold powerful river alone and remote can go very wrong very quickly. I have been there when people were pulled out, and camper can't swim rescue, perform CPR or drive!

Really enjoyed your travels through Oregon (grew up in Hood River, a small town in the Columbia Gorge& went to college in Eugene (University of Oregon) before living in Bend for 10 years. When I was in college we loved heading down to Mt Shasta, Shasta Lake and the caves you and Camper explored. Love your vlog, Nikki!
Camper needs a collar light of his own. My lab is black. Comes in handy at night in camp or in mine exploration etc. Safe travels. 🐾🙏🏻✌🏻

A cold plunge is not for the faint of heart (as I've also experienced. btw: Love your swimsuits. 😁 Warm weather, not hot, is a great season). I love the demonstration of being mobile in your life. When the place has lost its luster, it's time to roll the dice and move elsewhere. Always fun to see how you manage to adapt to the varying circumstances (and some serious challenges as problems occur). Daily adventures even if you're in the same location a few days. Happy travels!! Your spelunking safety check is a great lesson. 😘 And taser-light is a GREAT IDEA! Beautiful views of Mt. Shasta.

Get some Fels-Naptha bar soap to keep on hand. It works great on poison ivy and poison oak oils.
Also useful to keep on hand: Hydrogen Peroxide and Dawn Dish soap. Keep the hydrogen peroxide sealed until you use it. It does have a shelf life, it slowly turns into water and becomes less potent. If your dog gets sprayed by a skunk, mix two tablespoons of dish soap into the hydrogen peroxide and rub it into the fur. Be careful around the face. Rinse it with water.
It's been a minute since I last watched an episode, so stoked Nikki and Camper upgraded to a Sprinter from the Prius. Car camping is intense, I just bought that cylinder shaped car shower for kids" motocross tent camping and I can't believe people shower in their sedan cars. It's so weird that what used to be an insult has become a dream for most of our generation, "if only I could afford to live in a van down by the river" well I bought a van a month ago and am making the move! (funny enough, I'm used to traveling long distance by bicycle, so a van is actually like a resort for me, hehe ;)

That’s a flashlight stun gun, not a taser. Tasers fire prongs at a distance connected by wires that interrupt the nervous system of a would-be attacker, rendering them helpless. Stun guns only inflict pain when touched. Big difference.

If you ever want to look for a higher quality headlamp, I would highly recommend a Biolite headlamp Nikki, you can find them at most REI stores. They are a newer design that takes no actual batteries. The headlight is flush with your forehead and the battery pack, that is a Micro-USB plug-in, is attacked to the back of the strap resting on the back of your head, so the weight is distributed evenly and the headlight in the front isn't heavy falling down in front of your eyes. Its one of the most comfortable headlamps I've ever used or had. I have one in my 72 Hour Survival Bug Out Bag at all times and I grab it when I go hiking, just in case it gets dark before I get back from the hike!
