Chad- I remember when you were trying to get home to see "someone with Covid." You told people to believe that it was real. I wondered who it was you were talking about and how they were. I'm crying so hard. I've know many people who have lost loved ones and your words finally sent me to a place where I could cry for all of them. I'm sorry, my friend. Your father is proud. I know it. I'm sorry you lost him. Peace to you and you family.

Chad.... Here's to ALL the dads out there, who made a difference in a kids life. I was 13 when I made my first trip to Moab with my dad, I'm now 64. I still think of him everyday. Love and miss ya Dad. Oh, Moab then was nothing like it is now! Peace out!
This is one of your best videos dude. Literally feel what it all means to you. I think your dad would be so proud. His impact can clearly be seen. Awesome dude!
So sorry for the loss of you father,, I lost mine 7 years ago and things have never been the same.... now my mother is on hospice with days to live and watching your video brought a little joy to my morning thinking about my dad. Rarely does a UA-cam tear you up, but this one did the trick. So sorry for your loss my man. For most of us COVID meant loss of money or things, but hearing from someone who lost a loved one definitely puts things into perspective. I’m already out there taking chances, thanks to the movement you’ve created with your channel, and I can’t wait for my next adventure really soon. Nature truly is beautiful when you’re actually just “being” with it.

Talking about your Dad made me get a bit emotional. I know you loved him and miss him very much. He must’ve been a special guy. Thank you for sharing this with us. I’ll probably not live the van life, but we’re looking at a Honda Element for camping and cycling. 😀
I am very sorry to hear about the loss of your dad. He seemed like a good dad. He lives on in you and I am sure that you fill him with pride when he looks down on you from above. Take care.
Hey Chad, your tribute to your dad really hit home for me, brother. I lost my dad two years ago, and it's amazing how much I still miss him. I inherited his 1986 Westfalia, and have spent the last two years turning it into a great overlanding van, inspired by your channel. He raised me to be an explorer and to love outdoors, the desert, and riding my motorcycle. Thanks for what you do and what you share with your viewers.

Superb camera work, great editing, perfect soundtrack, and honest down to earth comments to do justice to Canyonlands... As a 70yrs old father of two (brilliant) sons, I can guarantee you that your old man is proud. Keep 'em coming, Chad and thank you...
Chad proves what a 2WD is capable of with proper tyres and airing them down to the PSI needed for off roading. Although that said, it still requires skill.
Your storytelling and cinematic shots are on another level. I can't believe I'm able to watch your videos for free! This one especially I'm sharing with a lot of my friends with vans and without!
This episode just surpassed the one where you're clearing trees on a snow covered trail as my new favorite. Checks all the boxes and gives me the motivation to finish my van.
So sorry to hear about your Dad Chad. I lost my father two years ago. Doesn't matter how old you are you're never ready to lose a parent. He would be so proud of what you have achieved, much love from the UK!
My dad passed 19 years ago. I am still moved watching videos like yours and listening to the things you say. You’re right though. He’ll be with you always on every trip
Chad thank you for sharing this special moment. I'm sorry for your loss of your dad due to this virus. Thank for the reminder that their love never leaves us and that their lessons and example live on within us. May love, light and faith be your companions for life Chad. You've been a friend to me through your films. Blessings. 🙏❤️🚐
Now he is on Mars I thought in the beginning...... Epic video again, scenery, music (Velvet Moon), editing, better than most TV content. Thank you for sharing this HQ productions for free.
All that needs to be said about this video is WOW! The beauty you captured with both the scenery and your words about your dad made this one of the best videos yet! Your dad is watching you make your dreams come true! So sorry for the loss of your dad.
When you get back home, there’s going to up keep and repairs, upgrades, etc., etc., .... You should let everyone in on what it takes behind and under and inside the bus between road trips, to keep the Bus in shape for these epic trips. Why preventive maintenance is so important.....when your where tow trucks don’t roam..... Was in Moab about this time last year......wow and you certainly did it justice here. You just keep out doing yourself.........
There comes a point when you realize the care and feeding of a Vanagone just isn't worth it. Probably, the biggest pain-in-the-ass is when the transaxle queefs out. You can swap in improved engines, wheels, brakes, cooling systems, suspensions, etc, but, you're pretty much locked into a Vanagone X-axle and what "magic"the current crop of rebuilders can come with. The net is rife with stories of rebuilt X-axles barely making it out of the gate.
@@Ricopolico To drive these vanagon’s, you first must love them, second have money, or fix it yourself.....if you could see my shop, you’d say, yep that’s a vanagon’s owner’s shop......I’ve even got a bay. And yes, I’ve got the engine out of it, and just put the gas tank back in, and so on......if you stay ahead of the curve, the Vanagon is a great car.
Utterly incredible. Breathtaking. Thank you for sharing something so heartfelt and pure. My dad passed when I was very young, but ,they don’t leave, they just watch us from the balcony seats. Yours is so proud. Much love to all your family.
Sorry to hear about you’re dad bro, as if it wasn’t a tough enough year anyway. Thoughts and blessings your way and thanks for a very meaningful and authentic video my man!
Thank you very much for these 39 minutes of joy, Chad!!! God bless you and your parents, specially your father, who I´m sure he is following you along your way. Take care and keep it up!! Peace!!!
I just watched the part about you thanking your dad.😢 My heartfelt sympathy to you and your family for your loss. We don't see the true realities of what Covid does to those who've lost loved ones to it. The losses are enormous, and they should give all of us pause to realize how much we should value life, AND eachothers lives. You're father is in that landscape, in each sunset you gaze at, and in every leap of faith that you take. Peace to you, Chad. 💓🌄
Every video is AMAZING but this particular one hit home for me. I lost my Dad in 1976 when I was 17. He instilled in all 4 of us the IMPORTANCE of being out in nature and respecting life. No better man on earth as far as I am concerned. Cheers to your Dad for instilling in you to get out and enjoy life to its fullest! I hope this trip found some peace for you.... your pain was felt by all. Peace out!!!
hi it's me again from Britain . Just cannot stop watching your vids . I'm 69 and just loved too have lived the van live. but it's all right i am living the dream through your eyes . thanks .
Chad, pat yourself on the back... you nailed it. I’ll be heading up to northern Minnesota Forest later today and disperse camp for a couple days. It will be 10 degrees tonight. The furnace in my Four Wheel Camper will keep me warm. The fire tonight and solitude is the reward. Cheers to your Dad. I like to think... actually I know I’ve passed on the adventuring spirt to my sons. Thanks Chad.
Such amazing words Chad, got a little choked up myself there. I know exactly how you feel, my Dad showed me everything I know about camping, and I am thankful for that!! Those are priceless memories that remain embedded into their lives, obviously, look what it has done to you. Also a very special Cheers to you Mike. 🍻 Dream on, and keep on taking those chances !!! Keep on trucking !!! Love it !!!👍🏽

Wake up. There isn't a street legal car in the nation that couldn't navigate that road easily.
@@mrmort436 Um, my C63 wouldn’t make it 50 yards down that road
Wow always thought it was 4wd. And yes I'm clueless about vehicles.
My vauxhaul would die out there. Literally.
Chad proves what a 2WD is capable of with proper tyres and airing them down to the PSI needed for off roading. Although that said, it still requires skill.
It's great to hear the fond memories you have of your Dad. He raised a fine human being. I bet he is very proud of you.
Your storytelling and cinematic shots are on another level. I can't believe I'm able to watch your videos for free!
This one especially I'm sharing with a lot of my friends with vans and without!
RIP LTVL Dad. Who knows where I would be without not only this channel and your positivity, but my Dad.
We hope that in the future you will have a lot of winter camping videos 🌨️❄️
Winter camping are the best
Hell yeah. So cool 😎 to watch. Get all cozy in bed watching
@@juicy7928 yes its
@@shaanbae6096 yup thats for real. Plus gives me good sleep haha
My dad passed 19 years ago. I am still moved watching videos like yours and listening to the things you say. You’re right though. He’ll be with you always on every trip
Love the music and of course the scenery
@@Ricopolico German transaxle is 30 minutes away.........
@@planetmarrs5239 Is that a curse or a blessing?
@@Ricopolico That’s a blessing, I don’t have far to go, and they are as close to the best in the Country as you can get.....
Very sorry for your loss
Chad I’m so sorry for your loss I’m sure he was a amazing man
hi it's me again from Britain .
So sorry for your loss Chad. I can assure you your Dad is smiling down at you and very proud of the man you’ve become. God Bless.
The hayfever kicked in hearing about your dad and what an inspiration he was to you, and now you to us. Cheers Chad - keep trucking.
Such amazing words Chad, got a little choked up myself there. I know exactly how you feel, my Dad showed me everything I know about camping, and I am thankful for that!! I live an Overlanding Life myself, and I cannot thank him enough for what he has done for me. Cheers to all the Dads out there, who pass on their skills to their kids. Those are priceless memories that remain embedded into their lives, obviously, look what it has done to you. Also a very special Cheers to you Mike. 🍻 Dream on, and keep on taking those chances !!! Keep on trucking !!! Love it !!!👍🏽
