  • Dr. Gleicher discusses CHR's position on nutritional supplements, vitamins, herbs and other over-the-counter "fertility enhancers." It's important to keep in mind that many supplements are really only necessary when a patient demonstrates abnormal levels and the substantial expense this regimen can add to an already expensive treatment plan. I have low AMH and low ovarian reserve for my age (since the age of 29). I have been TTC for 2 years and a half..so I'll soon be 32. I try to cut out plastic as much as I can, I take the following supplements: - 2 types of supplements prescribed by enocrinolog for my short cycle - to lenghten it (my cycle is 24-25 days), omega 3 (I'll start this month with DHA omega 3), coQ10, Vitamin D3, Folic acid. That's about it so far. This month I'll test my DHEA and testosteron levels and maybe I'll start supplementing with DHEA too if I have deficit. I'll also retest my AMH levels. Any suggestions and advice?

@@ilanajana4931 Hi, I think it generally helps for health, but it did not help me get pregnant (so far, no success) I have premature low ovarian reserve - they told me my only chance is through IVF, which I am trying currently. I am also a poor responder, which means I get very few follicles with medication. I still don’t know the exact cause of infertility. I am currently at an Amh of 0.32 ng (a woman 10 years older than me would have a mean Amh that’s similar), but 2 years ago I had it higher, at 1.09, which is lower than normal, but still some women can get pregnant naturally with this Amh. Therefore, I have unexplaied infertility+ low Amh (on my medical card it is written: unexplained infertility).

No matter if you’re been called infertile or whatever, after reading Dobbie Nerkstrol's guide, I ended up pleasantly surprised. Within 60 days anyone can get pregnant, feeling the changes in your body the first few weeks. After go’ogling her I understood it's not a miracle kind of thing like the title suggests, but you can bet you'll boost your chances.
