it´s incredible how short trend cycles are, they even made us believe that 3 years is a long time. Even if this is just a trend, I hope people start reaching for items that are going to be used for decades.

I don’t think 3 years is a long time but I’m in my 20’s and have fluctuated in weight and am now just able to afford really quality staples! Any bags, shoes and stuff that will fit me for a long time I’ve always tried my best to invest in

@@rachspeed I understand that not everyone has the same privilege or access to clothes. I myself I’m in my 20’s and don’t make enough to buy clothes every season (like a lot of people). But I really don’t think this kind of approach is the right one. You are not talking fabrics, materials, fits, or any other criteria to acquire pieces that will last years and years. Also you are putting the links for people to buy stuff when this is supposed to do the opposite??? Listen, this is not personal, only you know how much privilege and access to clothes you have. If you are doing the best you can, It’s great. I was just giving my analysis regarding this trend of anti hauls.

Girl, I love these vids! I’m a firm believer that if you purchase things you truly enjoy- wether they are considered basics, staples, trendy, etc- they will be timeless to YOU and that’s what matters. I actually still have a huge collection of true vintage that I bought back in the 90s and early 2000s that, while, yes… may be just a * tiny * bit of me desperately clinging on to my prime 😅😂… because I really enjoyed wearing it. One of the most fun parts of fashion is being creative. And I love styling and re-styling pieces in ways that aren’t necessarily traditional, but work for me and whatever my current vibe is.
My hubby surprised me for my birthday with a Toronto weekend! We’ll be up for the auto show and I am SOOOO PUMPED!! I haven’t been up since pre-Covid and watching all your vlogs has me so impatient!’ 😂 I am DYING to check out the vintage shops, if you maybe have any suggestions? I’m not going to lie… even though I’m excited, I’m super nervous to try to find the fun quirky shops due to accessibility issues. This will be my first time trying to venture around up there with my wheelchair. So I was wondering if you had any suggestions for accessible spots? No worries if not! You could make it up to me by pointing out somewhere fun to eat with gluten-free options! Lol
Looking forward to a vlog! Chewie and hazel (my huskies 🐶🐶) miss Toledo! 😂❤

I bought a hideously expensive Caroline Herrera cashmere coat even though I lived in El Lay at the time and only wore it 2-3 times a year! BUT it was super marked down to $900. In my favorite dark charcoal color. Sooo, yeah, I bought it. Then moved to a very cold winter climate in Salt Lake City. I have worn the tar out of that coat! I got a black fox collar and cuffs to dress it up (from AliExpress), but it is still soooo elegant and I get compliments all the time. Yes, this coat was a huge splurge, but on the other hand, I’ve worn this stunning coat for over 35 years. With an Hermes scarf, unstoppable!🥰

You should try the JCrew Flare-leg trouser in Italian ponte
    Item BD308
That can probably replace those black Zara flare pants!

Love this! So relatable living with the Canadian weather seasons, and having bought pieces in previous years that I still wear and enjoy to this day!
I don't have a packable puffer though! It would certainly be handy for going to indoor places during the winter without having to remove an lug a big coat with you. The idea of layering it UNDER a not-so-warm but favorite jacket is absolutely brilliant!
And just something to make you laugh... was literally watching this while eating breakfast after just waking up... I was obviously not awake yet because every time you said "going to events" at the beginning of this vid, I kept hearing "going to the vet's" and was like... ??!? Lol 😂
