She is the master of this spectacular band. Personally, the bands she performs with in Norway serves her best. This is my favorite performance of this song.
Angelina at any age is a phenomenal vocalist, but if I show somebody how great she is, I usually show them some age ten performances. I can choose from a dozen songs in several genres and know they will be blown away. To my ear, Angelina achieved master vocalist level at ten and that is so hard to understand how. We know she gets better and better, but to already be that good at ten still amazes me.
I can't imagine anyone doing Feeling Good better than this. Her performance is legendary to me; the band is awesome; love her playing with the camera as it circles around her at one point. In my top 3 of her live TV performances, right up there with Unchained Melody at the Nobel Peace Prize tribute, and Every Time We Say Goodbye. And yeah that light is annoying. Angelina manages to outshine it though 🙂.

Let’s see, Angelina (10) on stage with a band and just kills this song! She knows how to work the camera watch as the camera goes around her and she makes the brief eye contact without missing a beat, there are seasoned performers who can’t do that. She then walks us up the scale and smash’s it with a Nordic Hammer! Smiles at you at the end, yep I did that! But in a humble way!🇳🇴🎼🎼🇺🇸
To me this is the first performance where the actual depth and resonence of her voice comes through, and this rendition would be really hard to top. This is also arguably the point where she hit her stride as a professional musician.
This is one of my favorites from Angelina. No one has ever said, but I've watched this many times, and I believe the trombone, trumpet, and saxophone players are the same ones she performs with several times the next summer at age 11. I wouldn't be surprised if this was their introduction to Angelina, and they said we have to get this girl to perform with our band.
Yes the summer concerts the next year look great with these musicians. They are definitely impressed by this little girl but she's growing up next summer ⛱️😅

Until a few years ago they were mostly known for backing up other artists in studio recordings, live performances and TV shows. Later years they have also started to produce their own music which combines traditional brass music with house and EDM. And it's correct they were backing Angelina at her live concerts in Norway 2017 (Sandefjord, Larkollen & Prøysenfestivalen in Rudshøgda)
It is amazing how often, Angelina is seen on her videos with a light shining behind her, giving her a angelic appearance. While every Angelina performance is awesome, there are some which are next level, and this is one of them.
The outdoor version is very good but this indoor version, from later in the year, is probably one of my top 10 favorite Angelina performances, although it’s impossible to pick a top 10.
You can really tell how absolutely comfortable Angelina was on stage here. And yes if only half the stadium filling singers can sing half as well.❤❤👣❤❤

Yes your video clarity is quite enhance with this new equipment. Angelina is untouchable in this performance , as a ten year old, those 5 time her age could not do it any better.
Totall agree with you, that light is annoying as hell...but it does go away. Everything else is pure treasure. And I really love her smile at the end, more treasure.
Angelina's vocal development can be measured in months, not just years. This is only a few months after her outdoor performance, but to me it is a much more mature performance. The background light is irritating to some, but I think it's great because it gives her an angelic aura around her. Maybe a little less light would be better, but I still love it. Also, I like this band much better than the one for the outdoor performance. As far as the new equipment goes, it is fantastic & noticeably much better. I think this is one of her best performances ever, regardless of age. Thanks Aron for another great reaction/analysis.
Crazy how a ten year old girl is able to command a band to a fantastic additional sound. That's why I like this more than the outdoor performance ✌️ it's not only her voice, it's her Angel Aura you can feel in every details. Thank you Aron. I've got this performance pegged as one of her masterpiece performances. Not that all the others aren't, but this one, and a few others, are just - monumental - you know you've been through something when you reach the end. And by the way, note how she pushes her hair back before climbing up the scale at the end. When she does that you know you have to buckle up because something spectacular is coming!
At 10 at the open air concert at the border with Sweden . Beautiful venue, stunning,surrounded by the crowd! Smiles from a lovely crowd singing along on a beautiful sunny day.❤❤ ❤ Yes definitely feeling good.
The outdoors Live on TV 2 - Allsang Pa Grensen is my favorite--it seems jazzier in the first half, although I do like the way she did the first half in this version, and she sustains the notes longer leading up to the climactic runs. Plus the swooping camera operation coincides with the big moment of the performance. I think her run at the end here is a little cleaner, but overall I like the earlier outdoor one better--it was also more unexpected at the time. I played the audio of the outdoor version in my car for woman passenger, but didn't tell her who was singing it, except halfway through I said it was a 10-year-old girl. During the run up with the big long held notes and then the runs, she said she got goosebumps, just from the audio. I then showed her video on my cell phone--at the time I prefered to play audio that was pre-recorded at a better quality than use Bluetooth from my cell phone.
Angelina did a series on concerts in Norway in 2017 with this band that were epic. Among many highlights was a performance of Loving You that truly stands out. ❤

I will bet that she arranged this one since she is now 10 and is singing so perfectly with the music. That light was only at the beginning, so you can watch it after the intro. Also, close to the ending you weren’t looking at her as she flirted with the camera. Have to watch closely to catch it. Picture looks fine, but I personally would appreciate if you would enlarge our video. There’s plenty of room to your right on screen. This in my opinion was perfection!
Actually this is a great suggestion. It didn't make sense before as I had lower quality recording and all but now that I'm recording the screen in 4k, it makes sense. I'll do that from now on (starting with reaction #151)
In one recorded performance the drummer started a drum roll for the big finish, as if she’s a mere circus act. Angelina gave him such an angry look that it had the drummer immediately stop. Then she continued to perform a perfect finale, maybe even a bit more intense 😅

Awesome reaction and agree there are certain parts better in one concert and not as good in other parts! Example; When she sang, "you know what I mean", in the first concert she seemed to just talk, which I found was awesome. In the 2nd concert (indoor) she sang them close to talking but was sung to me that didn't hit with the same impact. As for the ending of the song I like both equally but got different impacts, can't really explain it and that is my take, God Bless!
I love both the versions you are referring to. For instance, I like the way she ended it in both versions but really very different. I have never in my life seen a singer that could sing a song in so many different ways at such a high level---see "Bad Valentine". It can be a double edged sword but at the same time you are kept on the edge of your seat because you can never be sure what is coming except that it will be full of creamy buttery goodness. You must do Angelina's newest version of "What a Wonderful World"---you are going to melt in your chair. I stumbled on this performance when I was searching for Carly Rose Sonenclar’s X-Factor performance, which predates Angelina Jordan by almost 5 years. This cover was originally done by Angelina as part of an auto ad campaign, even though I’m not sure if they used this performance in the final ad.
The commercial was produced in late 2014 and first aired on May 8, 2015. This performance by Angelina Jordan was on December 30, 2016. Although Angelina was considered for the commercial, Audra May's vocals were instead used. This was confirmed by Volvo Cars' press release on May 8, 2015, the day the commercial was first aired. Your favorite, Lucy Thomas, is a lovely singer, sure-polished, predictable, and about as emotionally thrilling as a polite golf clap. Angelina's runs, phrasing, and tonal shifts aren't 'gymnastics'-they're storytelling. It's called soul, Gabriel. It's the reason you feel something when she sings-whether it's raw power, vulnerability, or unrestrained freedom. If you're content with Lucy's karaoke-esque ballads, by all means, stick to them. Angelina's runs, phrasing, and tonal shifts aren't 'gymnastics'-they're storytelling. It's called soul, Gabriel. It's the reason you feel something when she sings-whether it's raw power, vulnerability, or unrestrained freedom.
