The writing was on the wall in 2016 when they canceled a major renovation and started moving divisions to other places away from Detroit And doing that major renovation at its technology center afterwards …. And Covid was just the final nail in the coffin .
unlikely, it would be the largest controlled demolition in the country's history and impacts the cities character by altering the skyline in a negative way
Shorten it down, and make decent housing for people who have needed housing while watching it sit mostly empty for years. Maybe have some floors set up for elderly, and have community helpers. Maybe one floor is a grocery store. Maybe one floor is elderly day care for people who live in the building. maybe one floor is dental, eye care, and simple doctor care. Maybe one floor is a library for those who can’t travel, day care for local residents. Do something to help the community of Detroit, rather than just te@rng it down, or letting it sit. This constant waste of huge buildings needs to stop.
detroit could have a massive, grand library in the rencen, government services, skyscrapers can be so much more than just cubicles and architecture, although the architecture is pretty cool

i dont think some bland tiling and new server rooms would've cut it, it needs the maze replanned and to become something other than corporate offices
How about make more hotel space. The city needs more hotel space.
I used to go there as a kidd, hope they dont tear it down!!!!
