That ain't needed for the DDT-Pro Ironman Heavymetalweight Championship. But it didn't hurt. And you could say the same for every WCW Championship in 2000...
Jeff Hardy is actually the most disappointing wrestler ever, I understand addictions and vices, but my god could he just get it together once, at least. Being a kid during his 2006 - 2009 run, I loved him, wanted him to be champion. The older I got the more I understood why he didn't get the belt and if he did, it was for a short time. As a business how can you trust a guy that just doesn't want to get help.
When you said “They probably got coal in their stockings that year.” You should have showed an image of a stocking with Adam Cole and Michael Cole inside. 😂
I’ll say the “Real American” gimmick really could have worked, especially if they would have waited two years and leaned into it before the 2016 election. They’d have some great heat to work with. Only issue was they used Jack Swagger of all people, one of the least charismatic wrestlers I’ve ever seen.
Honestly, in top 10 lists I take the voice of the narrator as an important factor (if not the biggest honestly). Tempest grew on me. Now I look forward to every list of his
@@zanethindWWE we’re insistent on Sheamus at the time, same mania was the one they fed Daniel Bryan to him, which effectively started the yes movement. I ain’t complaining that Sheamus won with hindsight on our side, we’d of probably never got Mania 31
List idea: Best Heel Moments in WWE. Not best heel wrestlers or heel turns, but specific moments where a heel did something incredibly dastardly or that got a major reaction from the crowd. (ex. Sasha’s NXT Sendoff Ironman match against Bayley)
I remember seeing the Regal IC Title reign of 08-09 in person. In fact, 2 nights before his reign ended, at a house show vs CM Punk. They wouldn't even let him win at the house shows, as Punk won that night in an IC Title match, via disqualification, thus Regal's retention.
Regal was a treat to watch wrestle. His moves were crisp and his selling was top notch to go with his wonderful presence and mic skills. As a heel he was one of the best to ever.
Being a British kid growing up in the 80s (back when we still had our own wrestling on television) I was lucky enough to see Regal perform before he went off to the States
Wanna know what makes the Kennedy one worse? He went on the old Sun Wrestling podcast...AND SAID HE DIDN'T TAKE STEROIDS! He said this, on a podcast...and got caught taking steroids! In the space of a month!
I believe WWE had/has a policy where you can eliminate strikes against you (I believe if you stay clean for a certain period of time then you can eliminate some, but not all). Also, while I don't think this applies to Orton, I was under the impression that if you were let go and brought back then your strikes reset. I'm also curious if WWE still tests for Mary Jane seeing as some US states have legalized it. It's still federally controlled but not sure if WWE even cares about it at this point. With the roster on the road 320+ days a year and banging up their bodies, if there's something out there that poses no risk to them but can help alleviate the pain, then I'd think they'd be all about it (or at least not care enough to reprimand for it).
Proud to be one of the two WWECW fans, as it was NXT before NXT switched from Reality TV to actual wrestling. Hell, starting in Summer 2008, WWECW was the only show I was watching at that point (besides PPVs). However, I had checked out around early 2011, and pretty much began watching the PPVs only (though Summer of Punk brought me back briefly). Part of me always wonders why I didn't watch NXT in it's early days, as I was such a huge WWECW guy, but like I said, I was just whatever on WWE in 2011, and went back to watching WCW, as I still live, breathe, bleed, and I will die for WCW to this day. WCW For Life.
Regal deserves his spot in the WWE HOF. The man is a true wrestling legend for his amazing work that was highly underrated and he should've won more titles including the big one the World Title
Tempest I love you, but the way you talk about the green makes me think you’ve never smoked in your life 😭😂❤️ Maybe that’s just me really hating “weed comedy” though lol.
R Truth actually didn't confuse acrophopia with arachnophobia. During the promo, which was for money in the bank, he said "there better not be 1 spider on this ladder" lmao
I have to disagree with you as a Brit, Tempest. Do order fish & chips at a pub… just make sure it’s a fancy pub or it’s gonna be disgusting, pub fish and chips is literally the biggest hit and miss ever 🤣
My biggest take away was that sir tempest wears pots on his head, I'm good with the devils lettuce just throw in casually 😂😂. Great list though always enjoy the videos from you guys
Come on, Tempest…have you never watched a ladder match? Of COURSE a championship belt can be suspended…😜🤣
Very good
Ba-dum tisssss!
I applaud this joke more that should. So will continue to do so!
God damn you lol

....but then he got high.
only to have WWE start selling 420 shirts & let Riddle promote weed. Sucks for RVD

Jeff Hardy is my favorite wrestler and I was at the Mania he was meant to be MITB. Punk was a great consolation

No Jack Swagger in 2015? He was supposed to go over Del Rio in their World title match at Mania but got busted for weed
That was in 2013, when they first tried pushing Del Rio as a babyface
Both were horrible cant believe that was an actual World title match at Mania

Kinda funny seeing WWE eventually promote weed & selling 420 shirts
The 2012 Royal Rumble was great. So many fun surprise entrants, the first ever Kofi spot and an epic Sheamus vs Jericho ending.
Very true but Jericho should've won

Why would the Brits lose their mind if you order Fish and Chips at a pub?
We wouldn't
depending on the pub and if it has an onsite restaurant you could be getting shit fish n chips for twice the price of a better local chippy.
Good fish and chips comes from a fish and chip shop. Pub fish and chips is expensive and low quality by comparison.

I actually never knew Mysterio got booed back HIAC 2009 I thought the only time he got booed was at the 2014 Royal Rumble
He was getting bood when he won his first World title at WM22

Why is the 2012 Royal Rumble 'notoriously shit?' Are people still salty about Sheamus winning?
Love how Tempest has been living here (UK) long enough to use 'dickhead' nonchalantly less than a minute in to the video. Nice.
Knowing what we know now about Jeff Hardy, it doesn't surprise me at all that WWE was so reluctant to put their top title on him.
Would’ve loved to see Jeff with the MITB his briefcase design would’ve been the best probably

Go watch his last promo on Cesaro. Or his promo on Triple H about Eugene. Hell, the man is largely credited for mentoring/training Bryan Danielson.
