@4007fairview Debbie I'm so excited that you want to make this!
Irish moss paste is very simple and you will wind up using it in a ton of different recipes:
8 oz soaked Irish moss seaweed
    1 1/2 cups water
Rinse Irish moss in fresh water several times to remove the "fishy" smell. Remove any and all foreign matter. Soak the moss for 6-8 hours in the water, store in fridge. Rinse again and drain. Blend the Irish moss in 1 1/2 cups water until smooth. Store in fridge up to 2 wks in sealed jar.

Thank you so much for sharing your recipes! I'm really looking forward to making this and your gravy - I'm on my way to Costco to pick up those mushrooms...
One question please - can you please tell us how to make the Irish Moss paste? I do have the Irish moss, but I have never used it.
    Thanks so much,
    Debbie *Ü*

Thank you for the instructions on how to make the paste. I've got some soaking right now - and it definitely smelled fishy / of the sea, so I should be good to go.
I know what's for dinner tomorrow!
    Thanks again,
    Debbie *Ü*

Hi there... I love you channel. Is the irish moss paste absolutely necessary for this recipe?

Do you mean celeriac when you say celery root?

@4007fairview Oh, and you can tell by the smell if the paste is still good, so sniff before using. If it still smells "seaweedy" and salty it's good. Smells sweet and NOT "fishy" then it's likely turned.

@4007fairview I'm going to demo these recipes at our Raw Food Meetup tomorrow. Also demo-ing Nomi Shannon's sweet potato souffle. Should be great! Thanks again for sharing your recipes Chef Tina Jo. *Ü*
