aha I got an acceptance letter from UofT for a science program a few years back but I declined it because of the ridiculously high tuition. Maybe I will go back for grad school.
I got into UofT with an 82% average. I graduated in 2007. I found UofT to be easier than high school. My marks were a lot higher and I even got the highest marks in my program in 3rd year. No one cares that I went to UofT. If anything I get asked why I’d want to work so hard in university and I should have gone to a school that’s easier and more fun.

Hi I have a question regarding applications. How do you choose which College is best for you and your program? For example, if you want to enroll into Rotman, you choose residence that is closet to that building. What about Arts Program? How does that look like?
Hmmm I don't think colleges impact your university life that much. I had a similar question when I was applying to UofT but I would just suggest you to choose whichever one you like the most (they are all pretty much the same and it won't matter that much). If you want to learn more about colleges at UofT I would encourage you to watch my other video "WHAT ARE COLLEGES AT UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO? | U OF T STUDENTS TALK ABOUT TRINITY & ST.MIKES & NEW" ( ua-cam.com/video/8FjdlFBJPfw/v-deo.html ). Nice Video 🌷🌸 Please can you tell are International Students allowed to travel? Can you also tell about Saskatchewan Area? Is it a good place to study and settle down? Thank You 🌷👌🏻🌸🙏🏻
As far as I know international students (from certain countries) can travel but they are required to quarantine after. I have never studied in Saskatchewan so I wouldn't be able to tell you if it's good or not but I think what matters more than where you study is your mindset (study hard👍👍). Okay, also, I caught something you said about essays and uniqueness. I live in Surrey, which is in British Columbia and I had to apply through creating an OUAC account, a 105 application, there was no essay in that process 😳, just personal information and such. Did I do something wrong? Do the essays and interviews come AFTER you apply or something? I'm so scared now.
Great question, so I think you did everything right and this essay part of the application process happens during the supplementary application process. Some programs like Rotman Commerce will even require students to do a video interview during this process. However, I don't think all programs have the supplementary application process so don't worry too much about it👍👍!

I am currently writing my supplemental essay for ut Computer Science, which is one of my top top choices. Hi Richard! If I'm planning on being a commuter student at Rotman, does my College of choice matter? How do the Colleges impact your experience overall? Are they relevant?
Western and Queens have great business schools as well but Rotman & Sauder which are the two business schools that I applied to offered some of the things I was looking for. If you want to learn more about why I chose Rotman (UofT) over Sauder (UBC) I would encourage you to watch my other video "WHY I CHOSE UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO OVER UBC "(ua-cam.com/video/cnS48nuMYec/v-deo.html).

You need to submit your extracurriculars and essays to apply for UofT? Some other videos and articles said you only needed to submit your GPA and test scores :0
This is my dream university (grade 9). I know it's a bit early but I have a question. If I'm in a bad class in school but get high grades, or if I'm in the highest class in my school but get B grades all the time, which one is more likely to get into UofT?
Wow that's a really good question but I don't think I would be able to answer it (I don't want to risk giving you any wrong the information). I would suggest you to reach out to the university about this question!
hii !!!! do you know whether midterms (grade 12) are a very important factor for admission decisions? I really messed up my midterms this year. But my predicted grades are pretty okay (mid-90s) and grades 11 and 10 were in the high 80s and low 90s too. However, the fact that my midterms can affect my chances of admission has been haunting me!!! I will be having 2 more major exams (mock exams) before the actual final exam. I was wondering if I can submit transcripts from those exams and just skip midterm transcripts. Can I do that?? ( is it compulsory to submit midterm transcripts- is the main question lmao). I would really appreciate your reply!! thankyouu and have a nice day :)))
I don't know if this will help but my school only submitted my high school transcript with my final grade on them (not my exam marks). I think this might depend on where you are applying from but for me they never asked to see my exam marks. However I would still encourage you to contact the university about this question as well. I hope you enjoyed the video and I wish you all the best👍👍! (I hope you get into uoft if you are applying this year!!)

I don't believe so, I'm from Canada and our systems are more closely related to the U.S. than any other country, I think its better for you to ask the university first

I’m watching this vid after a year lol, but I have some questions. Firstly, is SAT a requirement for U of T? Secondly, I’ve heard that Canadian universities look at only ur gr 11 and 12 grades when applying, is that true? Waiting for ur reply. Thanks
There's no SAT in Canada, and yes they only look at 11 and 12 grades.
I thought U of T doesn't require essays?
Great question, this essay part of the application process happens during the supplementary application process. Some programs like Rotman Commerce will even require students to do a video interview during this process. However, I don't think all programs have the supplementary application process so you might not have to write essays depending on your program👍👍!
recently applied to uoft, have no idea what you're talking about with the essay and all that. I didn't have to write anything, then again, I'm going into life sci so it's probably different.
can i get into medical school of u of t to persue undergraduate degree being an international student?
Hi,I know I’m late. 😅
I’m in 10 grade, 15 years old
95% average , international (I don’t live in Canada ) 5262 Km distance from my country to U of t , I want to apply for Architecture, do you think I have a opportunity to get into 😔 i really want to study there another fact I don’t have financial assistance from my family
I really love your channel it’s really helpful, the world need more persons like you, stay safe 🤍
Although grades aren't the only thing that universities look for, I think you have a great chance of getting in just by looking at your grades. Keep working hard and thank you for your kind words😁 I wish you all the best!
I'm actually the same age as u and same grade and I also want to do the architecture program ,u should probably apply for a international scholarship from your country ,let them sponsor u
Once your grades r good that shouldn't be a problem ,at what age /grade do u graduate from high school in your country?
I'm from Guyana, so we finish high school in 11th grade about 17
@@deiedraferreira2910 I will graduate from highschool at the age of 17
You need to submit your extracurriculars and essays to apply for UofT? Some other videos and articles said you only needed to submit your GPA and test scores :0
For some programs you do need to write essays and talk about your extracurriculars! (Example: Rotman Commerce)
@@RichardHan ok thanks
My question is if I can get in from a really bad high school (like 1 class per grade tiny)
hii !!!! do you know whether midterms (grade 12) are a very important factor for admission decisions?
@@RichardHan thanks for the reply :)) I did ask the university about this and they mentioned that they required predicted grades. However, some of my seniors said that they did submit their midterm transcripts. idrk what is supposed to be done!! And yes i am applying to Rotman this year and i am super terrified atm cuz it is a competitive program, but thanyouu :)
@@khushishah5171 Hmm that's interesting I hope you can figure out what's going on but it's great to hear that you will be applying to Rotman! (you will enjoy it here)
@@RichardHan thankyouuu for the help and stay safe :))))
I have 3 A and 1A* so far in my A levels. Is it enough in applying early or should I wait till regular and try to push for an A* in all 4
I am a domestic student so I wouldn't be able to answer this question. So, I would definitely recommend you to reach out to uoft about this question as well. I am sorry that I couldn't help you but I wish you all the best!
@@RichardHan ty so much for replying
It is enough. You can apply with these grades.
What about mature student applicants?
Hi... I'm a nigerian, what's the minimum requirements for nigerian student. Do they also need to write ielts if you are from an English speaking country?
Idk if anyone knows this question but I want to apply to uft for fall 2023 but, I am graduating from social service worker and want to go into psychology but will they still allow my highschool and college transcripts?
I wanna know if there’s any updates
Is ACT or SAT exams required for UofT ?
Hi richard han is that hard as you say even in social science departmen
Do i need to do A levels to apply for UOt?
Wana also know about scholarships
hi im from indonesia, in my country we can apply the same uni with different major. is the u of t system the same with that? i mean you can apply 2 major in u of t as back up plan if you apply in major A but unfortunately you dont pass, and fortunately you pass for the major B. so i will take the major B
I don't believe so, I'm from Canada and our systems are more closely related to the U.S. than any other country, I think its better for you to ask the university first
i scored in low 80's in my 11 grade. do i have a good chances to get into uoft?
That thumbnail though 🥵🥵❤️😂
The shirt is such a good flex bro
Is there biomedical science at Uof T
I’m a bit confused bc I thought u of t only looks at grades and not extra curriculars etc, that’s what I saw in another video, pls lemme knpw
Does Rotman Commerce require an essay?
My school doesn't have any extracurriculars :(
:(
Hey, look for the opportunities around you! Don't feel restricted because your school doesn't offer extracurriculars. There are many other ways to make you stand out: you can start your own project, get involved in activities outside your school,...! You can do it :)
I wana apply. Masters in the field of mechanical..
Is that hard Even on social science department
Whats the intro song
Did u get any scholarship ?
I got scholarships from different organizations (outside of school) but not from the university!
Do they care about freshmen year gpa?
Can you mention your ig
