Me too! Also, many of them are also here on UA-cam too! The *"PFAFF Talk"* UA-cam channel uploaded many of Nancy's classic segments from back in the 1990s! I was very happy to see them!
FYI: Instead of 'sharpie' markers you can also use a straight stitch to make thin branches. All depends on what look you are after. Great video takes the mystery out of landscape quilting.
Oh...!!! That was such a special introduction story! So sweet! It is joyful to hear of how good friends got together! I am wondering if Natalee Sewell sold kits at a quilt show that I went to either in Asheville, NC or else in Pidgeon Forge,TN,( where I bought 4 kits) from her and one with a horse! I have 2 more kits to finish of hers.
This is wonderful to see, I used to buy some quilting fabrics from Nancy’s notions site before she died. So sad they both died rather young. They left us a legacy of their love for fabrics and fabric arts! I’ve been doing shading on all of my appliqué work because it makes them all so much richer even with a little batting to help puff them out. The batting can be added to the back during the FMQ stitching, trimmed away after stitching. Then sandwiched again for the final quilting. The plain variegated fabrics they show here are Great examples, very similar to what I have already used. I draw some of my birds and such using a light box then stitch them in place. I love the birch tree examples better than what I’ve done but it’s comparable! Thanks for the video!
Thank you, Becky, for sharing their talents and keeping your mom and Nancy alive in all of lives.
These ladies are true artists. Probably quilting in heaven…..what a blessing having a friend like that there for you until the end.
I still watch sewing with Nancy, she had taught me how to quilt😊
these 2 are adorable together. You can feel the relationship is much more than the show
Love these landscape quilts, so inspiring.
So much talent, I absolutely love Natalie's quilts they are so lifelike.
I listened to Sewing with Nancy and have VHS tapes of lots and lots of these programs! Still love them!
