- Here's the first 30 minutes of Doko Demo Issyo for PS1 played via a PS2. UK machine was used with Tonyhax to load the retail disc with an actual pocketstation in machine.

Its just that Toro is only popular in Japan. And he didn't get any release outside of it

He had that news channel on PS3 back in 06-10. Then he got a game on the PSVita, with some nice wallpapers for the PS4. Thats it for the US. Shame.
I love the Japanese art style and culture I dont know what it is about it but its just so nostalgic in a weird way

I was looking for gameplay of this it’s so nostalgic. Unfortunately when I tried getting on it on the psp it didn’t work
I think cause this version requires the Pocket Station. It was re-made as a PSP title without the use of pocket station.

I thought it was funny that they were putting “Kebab” for everything. They named Toro “Kebab” and also input their own name as “Kebab” and at 8:15 Toro asked “Do you love someone? Who? I want you to tell me!” And they put “kebab” as well 😂

Man there are so many great japanese games that I would’ve loved to play as a kid. Heck I still do! We need someone to translate this to english and release a patched version! Imagine that! Even better if we got english version of the PocketStation app…😮
i get that this video is more than a year old by now but it would be cool if there were english subtitles for what is happening in the game

also if only there was some sort of decompilation so it could be localized in some sort of way
@@ash_underscore_this comment is old but unfortunately its nearly impossible considering how reliant it is on using the japanese alphabet and words (also considering you would have to completely translate the pocketstation version as well!)

Hey! I recently bought the game and was wondering if the pocket station is required to play it, or if i can save using a memory card? I have a ps1 console, i just am unsure if i need the pocket station to play this or not. :,)
