Thanks for this podcast. I hope they don't do a third film. The second really lacked the original's fun, and felt totally phoned in. Besides, they've already used most of the band's well-known songs. Diehard ABBA fans like me would still enjoy the music (the band has loads of incredible songs that the general public is unaware of), but most people would be annoyed at hearing songs they don't know.

Several of the songs used in the first two films were never singles. Also, the films did very well in the US where the average person knows a grand total of one ABBA song. I don't see the songs as a blocker. It just needs a compelling story to tell that is believable and doesn't re-tread the ground covered by the first two films.
