Yes, but this particular part was designed for those without a seat delete. We have another version that's a bit cheaper that requires the removal of the rear seats here -> www.steeda.com/mustang-rear-seat-x-brace-black-555-5085.html
Hi Tony Yes a 6 Point will stiffen the chassis. If the back of the cage has a diagonal down bar then no. Do you have a bar already or have one in mind?
@@steedaautosports Thanks for the reply. Just putting a wish list together. I think a 4 or 6 point harness is the direction I'm going. I like the x-brace though! I had one on a BMW ti.
@@tonygruber7665 Watson Racing has a great bolt in 4 point. It's not listed but we do carry them if you decide to go further. This application is for an S550 but they also have them for S197s ua-cam.com/video/qUlOXaTl2eY/v-deo.html
The wheel hop bs. I watched videos, got on forums. All said to do stuff like this. Lower control arms, sport springs blah blah blah. You know what got rid of my wheel hop? Michelin pilot sport 4s tires. And my vehicle is a 2012 GT Brembo pkg with Roush stage 2 supercharger, steeda strut tower brace. Steeda suspension. 13'-14' GT500 14" rear rotors. GT 500 rear diff cover.
Wheel hop is very much a problem on the Mustangs newer than yours that are equipped with an independent rear suspension instead of the live axle rear your car has. My 19 GT with the Performance Package and Brembos was really bad about wheel hop when I first got it despite having Michelin Pilot 4S. Now I have the Steeda extreme stop the hop kit installed and no more wheel hop problems. It’s not bs, it’s FACT...
@@skipgumphrey9579 Yeah well, its a problem on the live axle mustangs and the tires got rid of it. Not lower control arms, not springs. Just tires that actually hook.
@carlos271 I’m glad you posted this because I’m looking to upgrade from these Big-O Mud and Snow tires that came with the car. What size tires and rims do you have? I have the stock 17x7 rims with 225/60 tires. I was looking at the Michelin Pilot Sport 3s with 235/55s all around. Just trying to get some ideas.
I have the trunk X brace and I love it! It actually makes a big difference especially on the track. Awesome product!
I'm painting mine Ford Racing Blue, just like every aftermarket part installed on my pony.
Nice taste!
lets see what u did, i'm doing the same
Is this good for gt350
Can you use this and a rear seat delete?

Steeda love you🎁🎁⚽
Can you use a rear strut tower bar with this?
Hi Louie if your using the Trunk Version No but if you use the Rear Seat Versions Yes
@@steedaautosports ok thanks. Does the trunk x brace act as a rear strut bar when installed?
@@louieh.1394 Yes Louie it does. It connects to the shock towers
Would a 6 point roll cage stiffen the chassis, or would you still need this?
