The attention to detail is outstanding!! Not sure how much you charge but after watching this I know I’d pay knowing my car is in safe hands and most importantly detailed to 100%
I really enjoy your videos! You're a pro in detailing, its awesome to see how careful you go to work on these cars! 1 tip from me to keep your pants dry; buy a waders (for fishermen also). :)
Thank you very much 👍🏼 I usually do stay a lot dryer 😂 I do have water proof trousers, but find that the inside of the car gets soaked as the water just sits on top of the trousers
Thank you! I was very quickly running out of daylight so unfortunately couldn’t show as much as I wanted too. Have a look at some of my other videos as I go into more detail 👍🏼
Hi Marlon, I usually just wear nitrile gloves, however when it’s particularly cold I use Sealskinz waterproof gauntlets as they are quite warm and 100% waterproof 👍🏼

The microfibre towel ensures that the tire is perfectly clean, as the fibres grip onto the rubber and clean it more thoroughly. The high pressures water doesn’t clean the tires. Yes, it removes visible dirt, but not the ingrained dirt in the pores of the rubber, so no, not unnecessary. Give it a go yourself, I guarantee you will pull off more dirt from your tires with the towel.
I have and personally don’t get along with it. I look after a car that has been coating by an accredited Gtechniq detailer and it only lasted a year and a half, not the 5 years quoted
I personally would rather use CQUK or Liquid Elements Eco Shield. Or if you are wanting a like for like in terms of the 5 year longevity claim then Carbon Collective Molecule would be a great one 👍🏼
Do you have any tips or pointers for a first time DA polish? i just bought the STPA cordless polisher. going to use lake country white foam pads and a gyeon light polish. just doing a 1 step quick passes and a coating? thanks
I’d struggle to give pointers in a message but with it being your first time I would start with the least aggressive polish and pad combination and work your way up. I’m not familiar with the SPTA machine, but on a Rupes I would be working at speed 4-1/2 covering roughly 2-1/2 foot squared and doing 45-60 second sets with a couple of passes. What coating are you using? Is it your own car as sometimes they aren’t very forgiving and if any high spots aren’t removed then they will cure permanently and need to be machine polishes off again. Have a look at ua-cam.com/video/yQeFz_rIELY/v-deo.html he’s great and should give you good tips 👍🏼
Brilliant, I’d definitely take a look at Detailing Yoda’s channel. I believe Gyeon’s polishes are diminishing abrasives, which means they break down as you use then throughout the cycle. You’ll also need to spread the product over the panel first to ensure that the abrasive is even distributed. Are you using Gyeon prep to wipe down the surface before coating? This way you will guarantee that the paintwork is perfectly clean, which will allow the coating to bond to the paintwork 👍🏼
I’d use their tar remover as well. So... Tar (as tar sits on top of the paint) Iron (as iron burns its way into the clear coat) Clay to remove left over and any other contaminants 👍🏼
@@michaeldesouza4911 with modern leather you don’t actually need to condition it, would just need more of a top coat. If it’s an old car with ‘proper’ leather, then I would use more of a cream or conditioner
It really depends on what coating it is and what you use the car for. Is it garaged daily? Carpro Cquartz uk you will see 18-24 months, or longer of the car is garaged. Carbon Collective have a coating called molecule which they claim lasts 5 years, but I would realistically expect 3-4 years

Beautiful BMW and nice job
Another satisfying upload 😌 perfect to watch before I fall asleep, ty ❤️
that paint is gorgeous. gray but has a peachy - pink hue when the light hits it.
Not sure why they’ve sprayed the brake callipers red...I much prefer the OEM BMW blue. Great video!
I agree.
They have started to do it on some of the M models.
Cheers man, appreciate it 👍🏼

What dilution ratio are you using the BH auto foam at? Great video, once again!
Cheers Joe 👍🏼
About 200ml topped up with 800ml water, so roughly 3% PIR ( Panel Impact Ratio) 👍🏼
Great vid. Gloves and a good face mask: very good!
Thank you 👍🏼
Safety as always. Some coating are carcinogenic, so really don’t want to be breathing the vapour in
@@HarpersCarDetailing I see A LOT 'professional' detailers on UA-cam applying coatings and chemicals without gloves nor mask. Unbelievable.
It might just be uninformed about the product.
I also use Liquid Elements coating which is VOC free.
why do you clean the tires with a microfiber towel before you rinse the hole wheel with the high pressure washer ? Unnecessary, right ?
The microfibre towel ensures that the tire is perfectly clean, as the fibres grip onto the rubber and clean it more thoroughly.

Scratches aren’t actually “removed” or are they? If enough rain has fallen - rinsing off all of the product - the same scratches emerge again right?
They are removed.
When polishing you are removing microns of the clear coat which the scratches are in.
