That's funny because even Capcom was done releasing NES MegaMan games in the US. Nintendo themselves published this one here in the US as Capcom went on to SNES games.
I dont understand the people disliking other peoples longplays and top 10 lists, its their own video and proof that they have what it takes to be a player, great longplay man keep it going !
This was the very first game I ever played and fell inlove with. I'm showing my kids this video so they can know what a cool mom they have and the types of ole school games I use to love.
I love this game. First Megaman game I completed. I know that it's pretty easy compared to the rest of the series but the intro makes me shiver so hard
I love it! XD Mr. X: Dammit, he got through my base and found out my plans. *Reveals himself as Wily* He'll have to get through my OTHER base though! Megaman: For the love of fuck...
Capcom is really something. Mega Man 3-6 are basically the same game with different levels, bosses and just a few additions here and there. 3 introduced sliding and Rush which were the biggest changes in the NES series.
From 41:57-42:25 with Mega Man having Dr. Wily arrested, does that mean that this was the last Mega Man game ever or does it mean that it's the last Mega Man game made in the NES where it continues in a different game system?
6 & 3 are great. 2 is really good, but overrated. 4 is pretty good but can be repetitive. 1 is fine but difficult in so many wrong ways & 5 is the weakest of the 6 NES Mega Man game because of it's dull & bland game.
Best game in my opinion. At least amomg the Mega Man games and certainly one of the best games in the series. Tight controls, awesome powers in the form of Rush Adapters, and among the coolest robots. The Greek themed Centaur Man, Chief Tomahawk Man, and the flail flinging Knight Man? Sweet!
IronDawg "Mwah hah hah, I've created..." "Eight super robots with which you plan to take over the world. (sigh) Can't we just get this over with? My balls hurt."
IronDawg Ya. When I look at each character, it being a " bad guy". It reminds me of real life people I know of but aren't robots. In real life if you think about it. We all have bad guys, good guys. It's no different from a video game. I can tell it's weakness by looking at it surroundings. Jealousy is such a bad, negative trait. Some people have weapons, things that are easy to " use" to fight, kill the bad guys faster. An sometimes you need " help", backup. That's what rush is for, other helpers. It's a disguise to use, transform yourself into something else, to destroy the bad guy. It's kinda like Astral projection, OBE. U can self create yourself as a different identity. It's your spirit. I'm sure robots could be transformed with a human spirit trapped in itself. Just like a haunted doll can be possessed with a spirit inside of it or a painting. I unno. I like the bad guys from #3. I did like Gemini's world, the drawing of the character. I like Crystal man's world. I like the crystals in it. I just wish they kept NES going on, continued with Mega Mans before.. it started advancing. I think they're advancing things, moving 2 fast. One system comes out, then another one comes out. U should continue inventing games before the systems.
It's been almost 20 years since I played this game. Around 17 minutes, there are 2 doors to get to KnightMan. What happens when you go through the top door? I have zero recollection.
Going through the top door will lead you to the "normal" Knight Man boss fight, which is exactly the same but with a different background and does not award you with a BEAT plate (4 of the bosses have unique boss gates that award you with a BEAT plate)
From the same company that developed Street fighter 2 Capcom had good developers and they knew how to push the NES to its limits remember this game came out almost in the mid-90s so Nintendo was pretty much dead it was the super Nintendo that was picking up traction and even that was starting to show its age but the developers in software artists really know how to push the Nes to its limits
dumb question: was this "Longplay" tool assisted or not? doesn't matter because it was still fun to see but I was amazed the person responsible for this longplay made it with only getting hit 5 times! I gotta know: what's the secret?
Remember, I said "post a better video", which I wrote on purpose. I love that he doesn't make terrible jokes throughout the whole video. He doesn't stick to the mega-buster the entire time. Etc. Etc.
Enjoyed this game a lot! Always a little surprised how MM2 usually tops any MM list, but 6 never gets a mention. They were both awesome fun, I thought. A thing that always annoyed me was the long animation to Jet and Power modes. Surprised that survived any testing, to the final product
The Wii Shop Channel never received this game but the 3DS and Wii U eshop a did, but I prefer to play it on Wii U because I can see it on my TV as well as the Gamepad.

I agree. 3 and 6 are my favorites and I badly want to complete the set of NES games on the Virtual Console. Considering all of the shitty decisions Capcom has made in the past 3 years, I can see us not getting it for a long while. We're missing Mega Man 7 also.
This was the last installment of Mega Man for the NES, in those times Capcom was more interested in promoting their "X" series for the Super NES, so the publishing went to Nintendo. That would explain why some stuff is so different from other Mega Man titles, the levels are shorter here, the screen with the bosses introduction is a bit strange, and the music is way different from what we've listened so far. Not one of my favorite games in the MM series, but I do like the Jet and Power adaptors, and wish they'd kept them as basic upgrades in later games. (I know MM7 uses a combination of them, but it's a difficult-to-acquire optional item, with an even more difficult-to-acquire upgrade)
It agrees that on Nes Megamen 6 the best part and on design, graphics and a plot as acquaintance to this Universe also has begun with this game at me!:-) But has grown, one question began to concern me: from where at doctor Willy huge financial means in particular on creation of Flame Men from Saudi Arabia and Yamato Men from Japan have undertaken? Second only behind 3 my all time favorite!
6 is my personal favorite of the classics. Followed by 9 & than 3.
5 is my favorite, 3 was the hardest
@@farrock22 No, Mega Man 1 is the hardest one
@ yea you right on that
Said by a person who never even played 1. Doc Robots are probably the most sadistic bosses in the franchise
Very impressed with how good this looks for a NES game. It's amazing what good developers/programmers/artists can achieve graphically on the system.
Well, it was a pretty late NES game

Can’t exactly blame her, the series should’ve jumped ship to the SNES by now, at least that made 6 one of the best looking and performing NES games
Such a beautiful memories you have 😀
That's funny because even Capcom was done releasing NES MegaMan games in the US. Nintendo themselves published this one here in the US as Capcom went on to SNES games.
Fun fact megaman X was released on SNES in 1993
One of the best soundtrack is in Mr. X

Yamato Man's Level, and what I was thinking when he passed that extra life. "Who needs extra lives when your an immortal badass."
Why does it say "Mega Man 5: Played by Monty Mole" at the beginning? Isn't it Mega Man 6?
A similar thing happened with Metroid Prime Pinball/Kirby's Canvas Curse (the latter of which was misspelled as Course)

This has one of the best stage select themes In the entire series
this looks awesome on the nes!
This is suspiciously high quality for a longplay. I wonder if this guy is a speed runner that is just doing a longplay.

1-3 (mostly 2 and 3) are my fav. and what i remember playing growing up.
I never actually had the opportunity in my youth to play Mega-Man 4-6. Cool to see what I've missed.
