I never would've ever expected a Wario Land 4 side character to be in a JC Thornton animation, but I'm glad they did!
The character that you used to solve puzzles with in secret rooms is here lol
And having Wario toss him was a nice touch.

@W Shiflet Mad Scienstein was a different character only in WL3 and Dr. Mario 64. The WL4 scientist is called Dr. Aeostein or something, and was in another Japanese Nintendo game too.

Sadly Albano who played Mario passed away after the show ended. I didnt mind his version of Mario. Sure he cant compete with Charles Martinent Marios current voice actor but he was second place for me though :3
Edit: Mr Albano died in 2009. My bad XD!

The way you worded that, it looks like it could be misinterpreted as "Lou Albano died after the show ended, as in right after, and not 20 years later"
@@robbiewalker2831 Walker Boone passed away recently. Now both pairs of DiC Mario and Luigi's voice actors left us.
I just can't get over how expressive these character models are! Really fantastic work.
Mad Scienstein from the Wario Land series is actually a good choice for a head doctor, considering he already is a doctor.
This makes me miss the show. Thanks, J.C. Thornton, for the walk down memory lane.

My god what really is the best thing about this animation are the eye expressions....they way Luigi goes from worried to scared to angry is smooth.....

This is my favorite Live Action episode in the show. Really cool to see it reimagined like this.
Mad Scienstein worked excellently as Sigmund Fruitcake, and everyone was so expressive.
4:16 is my favorite part. The animation compliments the audio so well.
I find it hilarious how mario is just clipping through himself and distorting as he shakes

As a kid when I heard Mario say "just what the doctor ordered, an escape door!" in the cartoon I thought he was talking about Dr. Fruitcake

This makes me miss the show even more I remember when I was a kid I used to have a Super Mario Bros Super Show DVD and a The Adventures Of Super Mario Bros 3 DVD back in 2010 and those shows were so entertaining. Thank You J.C. Thornton for making me revisit my childhood.

show needs a reboot. through the magic of technology, they can actually take albano and danny's voices and synthesize them perfectly. these are and always will be, the true voices of mario and luigi forever.

Dude, I have to give you super props for this animation, I've always loved the live skits from the original Mario cartoon as a kid, and seeing it animated like this makes it even better! I'd love to see more of these if you could! (If I could suggest an episode, I'd love to see the one about Mario and Luigi's pet sewer gator and trying to stop the animal exterminator from getting rid of it.)

Being that this was my first favorite cartoon as a 4 year old in 1989, to now being a 39 year old who lived through the entirety of youtubepoop, I wonder how we would have reacted to this back in 89. from my perspective at the time, this would seem like the impossible has come to life. I dig it dawg.
edit: I just thought of my wording and felt i should mention: I am not saying this is youtube poop or bad in anyway, I was inferring I've seen countless videos of this show edited in all kinds of different ways. 4 year old me would have shit several bricks.
