It's a great shame that Chris dropped his Samurai Edge in the opening of Resident Evil Remake, and had to pick up Jill's gun. I wish they had Chris' Samurai Edge as an unlockable in the game, and say give it a higher chance of critical headshots than Jill's.
It’s not actually cerakoted, but Joseph Kendo, based on the S.T.A.R.S members’ requests, during the 3rd Phase of the official handgun selection for the latter group, he had the finish of the Brigadier slide (the correct slide when making your Samurai Edge, but since the gun is made and customized based on each individual S.T.A.R.S members’ preferences, you can customize it based on your own, thus no right or wrong there, but you can have the optional wooden grips with polymer molding on as well, or go for a fancy one Barry Burton rocks) dulled down to a more grey look, while also replacing the steel barrel and guide rod that has the blue finish with the default steel ones to give it a nice contrast to the gun, especially for the fact that when the slide locks back, it looks like the samurai pulled out his katana from the scabbard. In Phase 2, the Beretta 92F *Samurai Edge* was given a steel barrel and guide rod with blueing finish for durability after the 40k round count torture test, as it maintained its consistency, as tested by Chris Redfield. More info can be found via KendoGunShop’s channel. 😊
How’s the grip profile on those compared to the original beretta oem grips? Thicker? Thinner? About the same? I want those grips but not sure if I want to making things thicker necessarily. Nice build man!! Got myself an M9 that I want to make cosmetically look like an SE. had a 92fs, decently built it to look like and SE, sold it, and now have an M9 I’d like to get to look similar to a SE. again, nice looking resident evil builds you have!!
I was wondering if anyone had a line on where to find a brigadier slide... I'd love to find the one Beretta put on the 92G-SD but I can't find anything ANYWHERE.
A basic FS brigadier slide by itself is rare. But can be found on eBay once in a while. The G brigadier slide is a unicorn to find. If you ever find one, you’re looking to spend about a $1000. That’s just for the slide! If you can, just buy a used Elite or Elite II brigadier. Those come in a factory G configuration and already have front serrations like the Samurai Edge does. Those you can find on Gunbroker. They’re rare as well and came up once in a while but they can go from $800-$1400. That’s for the whole gun. You’ll never see an Elite or Elite II slide by itself. If you do, you will look to pay $1000-$2000 for one. Again, that’s just for the slide! It’s best to buy a whole gun. Whether it’s an FS brigadier or a Elite brigadier. That will save you money.
Im about to order that barrel from Barstol barrel. Does it come with the block and pin? is it drop in or do I need a gunsmith to install? Also how long does it take for them to ship it to you?
Does it come with the block and pin? *No, but you can order one from them.* is it drop-in or do I need a gunsmith to install? *Yes and no. You have the option for a semi-matched target barrel which has a chance of it being drop-in or matched target which requires a gunsmith to fit.* Also how long does it take for them to ship it to you? *IDK. I bought mine from eBay.*
This is completely custom and built off a 92F lower with a 92 Elite II upper. Any Beretta 92 will work for this project. Unless you're going for a 100% accurate replica, then you'll have to have a 92F frame to start with.

What color cerakote did you get slide done in?

Thank you. As for the grips, they are slightly thicker. If you have larger hands, you won’t feel too much of a difference.
Sounds good. My hands fit around the grip pretty well as it is so that’s good to know. Thank you!
Would 30 round mags work with the wood grips? I know they are extended in length
Yes, they will fit. You just have to take off the sleeve.
I’m looking for a barrel to my Samurai Edge build. Where did you get yours? Barstow?
That is correct.
Leonhart 306 thank you
Leonhart 306, how I can contact you. I need some help with a Samurai Edge build. Thanks bro.

@@Leonhart306 thanks for the heads up! I'll keep looking!!
Does it matter if I go with a beretta stainless steel guide rod over the npz one? Any differences besides price?
Both are made of stainless steel. I just like the sloped edge from NDZ than the rounded edge from Beretta.
Where'd you get that extended mag release from? I can't find the one you have that looks like the factory mag release
I got it from Beretta. It's been out of stock for a while now. Just have to keep checking the website.

What kind of screws did you use for the grips? Is it just the standard beretta screws?
Standard OEM Beretta slotted screws.
So this was built off of a 92 brigadier correct? I want to build this myself and want to know if the a standard 92 works.

Who did you use to get your slide engraved?
Customized Creationz - But his TAT is 3+ months.
Go to middlebranchmachine.com/ instead. He does the same work and TAT is within days.

the gun that look like the gun from robocop
is name Samurai Edge how come
What? The guns from Robocop and Reaident Evil are different. Robocop’s gun is a modified 93R.
Who built this for you? I would love to get one
I built it.
@@Leonhart306 do you sell?
@@BigBossChino It's not a cheap project. Depending on how accurate you want to get. Do you care about a 100% replica or just cosmetic features?
