Hello,,great video,,,,could you tell me the names of the techniques in the 25 and 28 seconds. In modern Aikido could be variations of Irimi Nage but in Daito Ryu i know names can cange. Thank you.

It's great learn the history of an art but none of this is practical in a real fighting situation so why learn it?

    • @netcomsaux
      @netcomsaux 2 роки тому

of course it is practical, and many ufc fighters have a jujutsu training ? every move in this video, has a clear application in reality of self defense,
you realise that the set ups are from static because theyre examples of how to control the enemy from being in these types of positions?
fopr example , grab enemys hand, then manouver correctly, (based on the users training and understanding of jujutsu such as examplesshown in video), then restrain/disable enemy.
what could be more practical? three 5 minute rounds in a cage striking and grappling? i think youre talking about a ufc sports fight practical, not a real fighting situation practical,

@@netcomsaux The jujitsu training UFC fighters have is nothing like this and you know that.
An attacker does not stand still while you manipulate their joints. Watch real fights caught on surveillance and you will never see a fight won using these techniques.

    • @netcomsaux
      @netcomsaux 2 роки тому +1

@@christofl6523 and this is likely not the only training these jujutsu practitioners will do either.
youre saying that this jjj video is not practical or useful training.
i agree that noone stands stil while you manipulate their joints, of course.
thats why i replied, to explain that even though noone stands still if theyre attacking you, its a training exercise. all arts have training exercises, thast how theyre learned and understood and 'trained'.
if you saw a video that clearly and cleanly shjowed examples of how to move from 1 position to another in bjj you woudl type "this is useless info"? this is a demo, theyre showing you how it works.
when a move involves serious injury by default its not really possible to spar it but you can train for it, right? and become aware of the feel of starting positions for the way it works.
how different is that aspect of training or practicing, from the groundwork based "respected" bjj that is derived from it? or any m.a ?
for example some of the clips here start from static positions, they are examples of how to move from that position,
what u can do, from, where you are
      where you shoudl be,
how to move to that position.
its standing up versions of bjj and judo rolls. right?
you know that bjj and judo are sports based formulas of the traditional martial art of jujutsu?
they are modified forms of jujutsu, orientaed for sports, not for real combat street fighting even if they can work in some situations, and again - they are based on jjj , this art. this is it, not saying thsi specific video of course, but this art and thsi video is example of this art.
every fighter learns and trains combinations, thats what youre seeing here.
you wotn see this in street fights on cameras much , because most people arent clued up on jjj, and wil punch or hug, push whatever.
you will see trained security forces using this on civilians tho, such as the police who round up the people who were puinching eachother on camera on the street.
jjj includes groundowrk too, whci is essential to have an understanding of course, if wanting to be a full rounded fighter reeady for any eventuality.
a lot of jjj is about caving someoens head in when theyre thrown down with a arm bent the wrong way , a kick in the back of knee - or throwing them by the neck over your shoulder etc
its not sports orientated. its more disability causing oritented when used as originaly intended.
think about what i explained and disagree clearly if you do, im not denying i could learn from your views, too,
jjj is about making the best of a position you are in, using evasion, where possible to manipulate positions, throwing down an opponent and quickly disabling the attacker.
its nothing to do with combat sports, or trying to "have a fight" but of course sports are derived from it, such as why judo was invented.its good to learn to punch, kick and ground game, but thers more to combat than that as we see in jujutsu. its a military combat mentality.
if everyone was using full jujutsu mentality in a cage fight (agaisnt rules anyway) or street there woudl be so much injuries. even in a street fight most people dont do the kind of things that jujustu shows.
this is defense and not sports and this video shows soem examples of stand up take downs etc.
i just randomly saw it yestereday, im not a fanboy of this channel or whatever, but i understand what im looking at in terms of martial arts in thsi video, i have an undeniable respect for jujutsu,
i hope you can make sense of what im saying or maybe you will think im saying nonsense.
maybe you do respect jjj and you are just unhappy with this specific video, im not sure. and i just use bjj as an example, because its seen as respected and its popular, im not claiming youre defending it over jjj.
      thanks for your reply anyway.

@@netcomsaux Judo and BJJ actually have some good moves so why not just learn them and ditch all the other stuff?
In theory these training drills would help in a real fight but the reality is that they don't. If you want to know what really works look at streetfights and prison yard fights and you see reality vs. theory.
