Nice video Sean, and great music as well. I’ve fished the Deschutes for over forty years with good friends, our nickname for it is the Stingy Bitch, but we keep coming back. I always tell people it’s about the river/location first, fishing second and catching third. This river haunts me like no other. It’s funny Sean, I worked for thirty years in Northwest craft beverage sales and I drink as much Modelo as anything these days. That and Pfreim pils. Cheers, Tom
Wow, 1000, that’s very cool. Congratulations, I’m happy for you! My podcast (not fishing related but maybe someday I’ll do one) is getting close to 1000 and it’s very exciting. I really dig your videos, the sounds, the music, the pace and the fishing are all on point. Thank you for doing this.
Thank you so much and congrats on the success of your podcast. Creating anything can be hard sometimes and it's nice to be rewarded for the effort! Cheers!
Just came across your channel. Loving the content!! Live in Springfield and wanting to fish more areas and you do a great job of showing off Oregon's rivers!
Congratulations on the 1,000 subs milestone! You make great video content so there should be no surprise to your channel growing. If you keep making the videos, I will keep watching the videos (as will the others.) Simple formula. Thank you for what you do. I will happily see you on the next one.
Been there…. When I see that action on nymphs I will switch over wet flies/soft hackles and swing a few runs. Goodonya for getting out. Congratulations on your channel. Carry on…
@@prolificnorthwest I really dig your channel and appreciate your perspective. I notice you do a fair amount of 3wt fishing on small creeks. Can you recommend a cool little creek? I bought a 3wt set up and would like to put it to use!
@@OscarOverlanding thank you so much. Yeah I love fishing smaller water with smaller rigs. It can take you to some really beautiful places. Do me a favor and send me an IG DM and I'll send you a few places to check out! Cheers!
This was first time trying them. I didn’t know what to expect. They taste like Old Bay, which is to say they taste like celery salt. I’ll stick to the jalapeño ones from here on out.
The universal look of getting snagged...
Yep!

Must be fishing down below Maupin with the railroad tracks running next to the river. Nice video..

Yeah, I'll bet! I liked your description of the " smolt storm" recently. I know exactly what you are talking about there!
Congratulations! Great video. Thank you!

Oh man this brings back so many good memories to my first camping trip in Oregon. I stood in some of the places you were fishing from. Great video.
Thank you so much! It's such an amazing place.
The Quentin Tarantino vibes on the intro are sick.
Thank you! I had fun making the music for this one.
You have great taste in beer!
Thanks!
new sub! sweet show!
Thank you!
Keep grinding love the vid
Thank you!
Pausing the video to ask, how are the Dungy spice chips? I've seen them around but haven't pulled the trigger yet...

Um, bro...crab spice?? :D
Yeah, I had to try them. They were meh.
@@prolificnorthwest I just figured it was Old Bay, which is way too heavy on celery salt. In any case, I commend you on your bravery. :D
@@richmosley2519 they tasted like celery salt, so your assumption is correct.
