I was born in 2000. The gamecube was very symbolic to my childhood. My favorite game was Mario Kart Double Dash. I was so happy when I saw it included in this list.
I remember one of my favorite Gamecube games was Starfox Adventure
I was never into shooter or games related to that genre but the Adventure-type gameplay that game offered and the cool setting and characters really left me addicted (So wish it would return as a remake or something like that)

One of my favorite games on Gamecube is Starfox Adventures. As different as it is from a typical Starfox game, it's still fun, has fairly challenging puzzles, and is a just a good time.

3 of my favorite games of all time were on the GCN those are Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, Super Mario Sunshine, and Metroid Prime.
Hawk Boy sonic should be on the list. It is easily the best sonic game ever.

Nice list! Just ordered a gamecube orange spice the other day and needed a refresher list, forgot about tales of symphonia and never got the chance to play through it so will be picking up that and more from this list👍

May I just say one of my favorites was Cel Damage! It's pretty uncommon to hear anyone talk about it though. But I really loved it.
the way we are going to get super mario sunshine (and possibly twilight princess and wind waker) for the switch really says how good these games are and no matter the past of time they would still be awesome

The GameCube’s graphics were ahead of its time
It was the weakest of the consoles... Idk where he read that it was the most powerful of the 3. I had all 3 during that generation GameCube had some great games but Xbox had best graphics.
GameCube is actually more powerful than the PS2
It had a slightly more powerful GPU, talking like 20mhz but 1mb less sram on its card compared to the PS2 while still having more system ram overall. So technically yes more power than a PS2 but compare multi platform games at the time and GameCube comes worse off. One that comes to mind is comparison between the Xbox version of true crime LA and the GameCubes port. I do and still like the GameCube but it was the least desirable console at the time as it carried a "kiddie" image.
@@britthaisomchai7276 not sure what you mean ps2 was always at a lower resolution in multiplats it's the first time Nintendo was beating Sony in specs the n64 is arguable
@@christopher.costner GameCube puts out a SD signal at 480 lines.. PS2 natively put out both SD and HD resolutions from 480i to 480p, some games like Gran Turismo 4 supported a up-scaled 1080i resolution.. look it up. That wasn't my point anyway.. point was the GC ports where always the worst talking bugs and jankyness

Other good Gamecube games are: Pikmin, Metal gear solid: the Twin Snakes, Beyond Good and Evil, F-Zero GX and Luigi's Mansion.

@@jaimemontanez2149 it's amazing. It was my introduction to MGS and made me buy PS2. People bitching about cutscenes and that it's too easy look at it through the lenses of nostalgia and somehow are forgetting how insane are all Kojima games. Recently I picked up used PS3 and Legacy Collection and I started playing orignal from PS1. Graphics didn't age well at all, controls are clunky, inability to use first person view is making it really hard and lack of M9 pistol in original is just terrible. I want to feel like a super soldier playing it and TTS makes me feel like that, original makes me feel lost. I got to Mantis in original and turned on GameCube. It felt like home again and also fits stylisticaly with MGS2 and 3 way better than the original. Here's your unpopular opinion.

Cennet Melisa öztürk I understand that it was out for the GameCube but let’s be honest Twilight Princess is known as a Wii game. The same is true of Breath of the Wild. It’s out on the Wii U as well as the switch but it’s more known as a switch game ya know?

@@milesrowe9228 Twilight Princess on GameCube is superior to Wii version,plus the whole world was mirrored in Wii because of controls they were adapting to nunchuck,so not even cannon,oh yeah you cant control camera in Wii version,so yeah.

Despite the glitches in sunshine i love this game.
Also sonic adventure 2 battle is an all time favorite of mine.
When i saw adventure 2 on gamecube thats when i became an edge lord.

I recently played the 3D all-stars version of super Mario sunshine & as far as i noticed super mario 64 still has the lives reseting from leaving the game & restarting it later but in sunshine (& maybe galaxy) is apparently fixed when it still got updated

Super Smash Bros. Melee and Mario Kart Double Dash are my favorite GameCube games. I somehow know you were gonna include Wind Waker at number one before even watching the video. I didn’t even skip anything. I just happened to guessed it right. Anyway, the GameCube is one of the only Nintendo systems I’ve owned alongside with the N64 and the Switch. I only have three Nintendo systems. I don’t own a Wii, a Wii U, a DS, and a 3DS anymore.

4: TLOZ The Windwaker..
3: TLOZ Twilight princess.

1: Paper Mario TTYD.
Funny to mention is that Paper Mario TTYD is my absolute favourite game of all time. I love it to death and I play it to 100% more than 5 times a month. x'D
Really sweet list. It's literally the same for me. My favourite game is Smash Bros Ultimate, Paper Mario TTYD is on spot number two though. I really love Sunshine as well. :)

@@user-ho9hk6rs4d the motion controls weren’t intrusive at all, aiming with the wii remote was better, some glitches aren’t in the wii version, and swinging the wii remote as the sword was easy, and very satisfying.

0:27 Actually, the Original Xbox was more powerful than both the GameCube AND the Wii
Actually… no. But yes. Let me explain without getting too technical: The GC and the Xbox are quite different. While the Xbox have a much more modern GPU with programmable shaders, when it comes to it’s raw power the NGC GPU is actually better. It’s very difficult to produce the same effects from specific programs like the Xbox does, but the TEVs can be stacked together in ways that the Xbox would never be able to. It’s raw polygonal and fill rate power showed on games like Rogue Squadron and RE4 also shows things the Xbox would have difficulty doing. When it comes to CPU, the GC has a much more modern architecture that is simply more capable due to a great design. When it comes to memory, the GC has a much faster and better designed memory architecture, but it doesn’t have as much. That much is not much of a problem. So, I’d not say one is better than the other, I’d say that they have different ways to develop games, and the programmable shaders really make a visual difference on Xbox, but that doesn’t mean it’s more powerful.

José Mahon Think is just plain wrong. The GPU on the Xbox AND its CPU were notably more powerful. You're just moving the goalposts & trying to reinvent the term.

Yeah, I played it a lot of times, it was my first Game Cube game and I loved it. There’s plenty of places to explore and a lot of fun missions to complete. Also the water device Mario uses makes the game very different to other ones on the franchise. You’ll not be disappointed, but keep in mind this game is like 18 years old, if you’ve played Odessy or other recent games there will be a little difference on graphics. Also not sure how it will work on emulator on phone but I hope you enjoy it! 👍🏽
@@IDKwhatyouwantfrome well graphicwise it looks awesome. In my opinion it looks better than galaxy. Yeah an android emulator would be different than the original but i will play with a ps4 controller. I've played sm64 on an emulator, sm64 ds on ds and 3d land on 3ds. And thank you for answering

Resident evil 4 is a godscend. I actually had no clue it was a GameCube game, I mostly played it on PlayStation.
