Nice job you guys! Great work shooting and editing the video. Really neat to see the top all in snow like that. I'll be there this weekend running the same route (but in 1 morning), and return in August to run another R2R. Love it there.
Sorry to hear about the ankle. I hiked day 2 of Sheltoowee on a twinged knee and can imagine something like that can pull your mind from the experience. Looks like a beautiful downhill hike and looking forward to doing some day!
I was at 26 lbs before I added a small flash of bourbon. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. We are going back the week after Thanksgiving and also gonna get to go to the Havisupi Indian reservation for 3 days right after.

Thanks man. It was definitely tender, but I couldn't miss a great hike like this!
Awesome Billy! Go Sheltowee Ky gang. We are doing R2R in September.
Thank you so much! You will love it
How much did your pack weigh for the whole trip? I’m planning to do this hike in late September.

@@billysherlin6589 that’s with food and clothes for 3 days? I was told to prepare to carry between 25-35lbs? Is that accurate for a 3 day trip?
