Nice video. 👍1
@KhurshidsChannel thank you so much. Trying to get back into it.
Nice video. Thanks for sharing. sub & 👍9
Good to see you you out on the trails. Are you still running the shuttle service? When will you be getting the new pups out?
Unfortunately not running the shuttle service anymore. Been getting new puos out on short hikes
Hey Billy, when were you there? I was there yesterday morning but on the east side. Good to see you and the pups out!
This was last weekend.
Nice seeing you still hiking! Kailey and I have to make it down there again. We got a farm with a bunch of critters that are hard to get away from. 8 blue heelers is lot to hike with😂
Went thru some job stuff, some soul searching and losing the best dog ever, but I'm back! Got a new Aussie pup and starting small hike training. Then I rescued a aussie mix and she is 2 and has been in a cage her whole life, so got lots of training with her. Trail training is the best! Next video is of her first hike. Wow! 8 blue heelers sounds fun and busy for sure! Great to hear from you
I love all you dogs. But Floki so cute. My Kallie has a puppy jumped after a bird off the side of a mountain and rock climbed back up! So watch out they are so active as pups but make the best dog ever. Kallie was the best trail dog I ever had.
He is gonna be a good one for sure. He already likes to chase birds, so I'll keep an eye on him. Thanks
No better place than the Gorge!
It was a good day! We have some pretty amazing babies ❤️
Floki sure has the energy for hiking.
He is wide open 90% of the time.....
That "thing you had never seen before" is a catch basin. It catches downed trees, logs, etc to keep them from going down river and clogging it up. Easier to clean up. Glad you guys had a great time!
I hope you found some time to incorporate some passionate love making that day.
How much did your pack weigh for the whole trip? I’m planning to do this hike in late September.
I was at 26 lbs before I added a small flash of bourbon. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. We are going back the week after Thanksgiving and also gonna get to go to the Havisupi Indian reservation for 3 days right after.
@@billysherlin6589 that’s with food and clothes for 3 days? I was told to prepare to carry between 25-35lbs? Is that accurate for a 3 day trip?
cool
Awesome video, awesome couple!
I like your video and subscribed to your channel, I'm also a new youtuber👍🔔❤
Thanks buddy
My dad grew up on that river 100 years ago. His family farm was by that campground.
can’t wait to find hansons point
You will love it. I can give you directions if you like.
@@billysherlin6589 i would thank you so much
Take Tunnel Ridge Rd to Pinch em Tight trailhead. Take Pich em Tight/Sheltowee trace trail and travel 1.4 miles. At this point you will come to intersection with the Rough trail, turn left onto the Rough trail. You will travel maybe an 1/8th of mile and the main trail will make a sharp left turn, there will be an unmarked trail on the right at that turn, that is the trail to Hansons. Take that trail, it's a well worn path. You will wind thru the trees and come to a large campsite, go right. You will come to a few more campsites on your way. Keep following that trail and it will take you all the way to the point.
we did it !!! it was amazing 🤩
@@halfnakedewe8763 glad I could help!
So proud of these girls!! ❤️
Awesome man y’all be safe

Love it! I really must meet your dogs! They are so good.
I will getting down your way before too long. We can meet up and hike.
@@billysherlin6589 sounds great!
Enjoyed this. I've yet to do the "challenging" part of Rough Trail, I've always approached Hanson's coming from the other direction. This has proved that I'm clearly missing out!
Yes, it is a great section of trail for sure. Thanks for watching!
I love this video! ❤️
What kind of backpack do you have? Love the video!
It is a ULA Circut X-pac with custom colors

Hey buddy! Happy New Year! Long time no see, glad to hear from you!
What trails did you go on for this loop?
Heckuva huge hike. Where did you start from? Trying to envision the loop you did but don’t see it on the map. Out and back?
Out and back. It's definitely not an easy hike
Dude your a champ with three dogs!!! Enjoyed your video!!! It was very helpful!!! Me and my wife are thinking about doing the north terminus to Red River Gorge.

Going on this hike next week. Thanks for the video, gives me a good idea of what I’m walking into
Hello. Thank you for sharing your adventure. How long it took you to get to Ribbon Falls from cottonwood campsite .?
Hi! Thank you for sharing your adventure. How long it took you to get from cottonwood campsite to the Ribbon falls .?
We didn't stay at cotton wood, we hiked from Phantom Ranch to the falls, which was about 14 mile round trip. Pretty easy hike
@@billysherlin6589 How was the temperature at Phantom Ranch at night .? Which month did you go.? I plan to spend the night at the cottonwood campsite in late August but I’m not sure if I need a sleeping bag. I read it’s pretty hot but some people tell me it gets super cold at night. I want to pack light. Thank you!
Nice job you guys! Great work shooting and editing the video. Really neat to see the top all in snow like that. I'll be there this weekend running the same route (but in 1 morning), and return in August to run another R2R. Love it there.
Thank you! I can't wait to return! Happy trails!
I'm about to do thos exactly hike with some friends. Can't wait
It's the best hike in the gorge in my opinion!

This was definitely an epic hiking trip! I was there in 2014, but unfortunately due to time constrants I was not able to make it to the bottom. Sure looks like I missed out on some really cool sights, Thanks for sharing your adventure!
Thank you my friend! If you can ever get back, definitely try to make it to the bottom. I am planning a trip back to do a Rim to Rim to Rim!

Sorry to hear about the ankle. I hiked day 2 of Sheltoowee on a twinged knee and can imagine something like that can pull your mind from the experience. Looks like a beautiful downhill hike and looking forward to doing some day!
Thanks man. It was definitely tender, but I couldn't miss a great hike like this!
So glad you got to explore the Canyon it is wonderful!
