Thank you, I learned so much. May I ask a question? In your diagram the aux coil is only connected to L1 of the main or standby source. What happens if for some reason one of the line connection is cut, say L2 of the main power. Will contactor A remains ON? Or will it trigger a failover to the standby contactor B? Any clarification is greatly appreciated.
Please I am not sure if I get your question correctly. The auxiliary contact are just contacts that open and close or vice versa when the contactor coil is energized. In the event that one phase is off, the system will work perfectly on the remaining two phases.
