These grow all over our yard and area and I had no idea what they were called of if they were even useful! So glad you all showed us this. This year, I'm picking and dehydrating them.
Great video, thank you! Arona berries take so long to dehydrate, but so worth the wait. I have a couple of gallon bags in the freezer to dehydrate. Now I know that these can go from freezer to dehydrator. I look forward to next week's greenhouse video.
Pretty cool! I didn't know you could put frozen items straight into the dehydrator like that. I might have to try it and see how it goes. Love your teas! :)
Could you comment on the temperature you set the dehydrator on and the length of time it took to dehydrate the aronia berries, please? I have several aronia bushes so I harvest a lot and I'm debating about dehydrating vs. freezing. Thanks.
How long did you dry them? We have a 1 temp dehydrator we use for jerky that I used to try and dehydrate mine but wasn’t sure if I did them long enough.
Thank you for sharing. Interesting video. Looking forward to watching more of your videos. Tea is my favorite drink. Blessings.
I love Aronia Berries (choke berry) and add a few to my smoothies. I'll have to try and dehydrate some.
Thanks for another great video! I love the Farmers Kale shirt!
Lol I'll pass that along 😜

Yes! Makes it handy so you can freeze in the summer and then dry in the winter :)
Do you freeze them first so the skins are a bit cracked and they dry quicker? this might add to the stickiness when removing them from the trays, no?

It will depend on the environment and temp in the house and with your dehydrator. For us that looks like about 140 degrees for about 36 hours.
ha ha Like the Shirt! very funny
