The ultimate animal-loving couple share their passion for adventure with their furbabies. Together they explore and discover North America’s pet friendly vacation locations and establishments. This docu-series examines the ins and outs of travelling with pets on motorcycles.
The connection between a human and their dog is like no other. Separation anxiety is real when the two are apart. When left behind, dogs who experience separation anxiety may become disruptive or destructive. They may urinate, defecate, bark, howl, chew, dig or even try to escape. Furthermore, many pet owners worry about their furbabies as much as they worry about their children putting a damper on any vacation. Stacey and Shannon conquer this by including their pets on their most scenic adventures including motorcycling, snowmobiling, off roading, boating and more.
As they travel to different destinations, they not only explore pet friendly accommodations and restaurants, they also look into unique pet friendly attractions and events that these locations have to offer. Safety is always priority, Stacey and Shannon review various products including pet carriers, safety gear, etc. The show includes tips on training, grooming, caring for, and preparing your pet to travel with you. Interviews with specialists, such as vets, groomers and other pet owners will be incorporated into the tips segment. Of course, nothing is perfect, Shannon and Stacey will share some of the challenges and struggles of travelling with pets.
Is there anything cuter than a fluffy 6lb pomeranian wearing a pair of bright pink goggles riding a motorcycle? Well maybe, how about a big 80lb golden retriever who snowboards or a 55 lb bulldog skateboarding down the street. As the crew travels from destination to destination, they will connect with other extraordinary pets and people. Pet owners and motorcycle enthusiasts band together.
People are drawn in by motorcycles and cute animals. Visualize a motorcycle pulling up to a red light and the people in the car next to you, roll down their window to hear the rumble of the engine. Eyes glued to shiny chrome and sparkling paint. Now, imagine their faces, when a small dog pops their head out of their carrier wearing a pair of doggles....

Max is 50lb fur missile and he’s logged over 20,000 miles just finished up a 5000 mile trip to Wyoming and black hills! Max is my spotter. He always points out even the smallest types of wildlife! Only backs when animals like cows are literally on our lane and won’t move! His bark gets them out of the way!

I get this all the time, I ride with a 45 pound blue heeler, and it every stoplight people are rolling down their window taking pictures and videos lol, riding with your dog is actually safer, before the dog nobody saw me lol now that I have a dog everybody sees me

Beautiful dogs. My Chihuahua, Dolly, has her own travelling box on the back of my Dyna. She always sits backwards so she can keep an eye on my wife, who is following on her Sportster. We’ve got our own channel now as well. 100% agree that a quick stop, soon becomes a long stop as everyone wants to come and see the dog on a bike. Liked and subscribed. Thank you for the kind words! Yes it is the Bagster Puppy, we could not find it in North America either and ended up ordering it from Europe. The way they attach to the tank suits some bikes better than others, we have done custom mounts for both the V-rod and Street Glide.

The manufacturer of the tank bag is Bagster and the model is "Puppy". They are not easy to find in North America, I ordered mine from a company in Germany. The rear bag we use is made by Saddlemen called the "Pet Voyager".

Hello, you are welcome! The channel is a passion project for us and we love meeting and messaging other riders who take their dogs. The tank carrier is the Bagster Puppy. We could not find a retailer in North America so ended up bringing it in from Europe. It works well however it can be a bit of a challenge mounting depending on the motorcycle. What breed of puppy did you get?

I just lost my 15 year old 60lbs dog. He was my buddy. I ride a Vulcan 900 and think my next companion will be a 30+/- LBS dog that can share the adventure with me. Any suggestions to get me started? Thanks
Sorry to hear of your loss. Our experience is only with small dogs (under 10 lbs) however for the most part the same methods apply. There is no guarantee the dog will love it. We have 4 that ride with us, one is ok with it only at slow speeds, two are good with it but like to sleep a lot and the fourth (Mercedes) lives for it. You don't know till you try.
Finding a carrier that comfortably fits a 30+ lb dog may be a challenge so I would go smaller. We would suggest trying the Kuryakyn Grand Pet Palace. You can find our review of it here: ua-cam.com/video/0sWbsP77tU8/v-deo.html
We also strongly recommend eye and ear protection. We use both Rex Specs and Goggles (product review on both of them coming later this winter). Bugs, dust and rocks find their way into our dog carriers so protecting their eyes is important. When introducing the dog to eye protection, pop out the lenses till they get used to wearing the frames around the house. This will also prevent the lenses from getting scratched as they will likely try to rub them into things at first.
We have found cotton balls work great to keep the wind out of their ears. We learned this method from our groomer who does the same thing during blow drying. Cotton balls come in various sizes so you may have to try a few till you find the perfect fit. We use harnesses that have secure points on both their chest and back. This allows us to make sure the dog will stay in place while travelling.

I can't wait to get my boy on the bike with me ... I'm having issues with what bag to buy pros and cons to the tank bag vs the rear ?
My preference is to have to dog on the tank as I can keep my eye on them and not wonder how they are doing back there. It really depends on the bike as well as the size of the dog. I also have a Street Glide and had to build a special rig to attached the carrier to the tank.

I built one a little to bulky but it gave me ideas for a better design trial and error until I feel comfortable with the bag and riding ... if it warms up enough lol jasper is a 12 lb Chihuahua Pug mix and my service dog ...

Thank you! We use and recommend the PoyPet No Pull Dog Harnesses which we found on Amazon. What we like most about them is they have D rings on both the top (back) and bottom (chest) so we can secure our dogs in two places. They seem well made have 4-way adjustable clasps and are reflective.

That is very bike specific. The V-rod's fuel tank is under the seat so I purchased a second airbox cover and securly attached the Easy Trail - 1583UU directly to it with bolts. On my Street Glide I built a complete mount system out of wood, painted it black then attached a Easy Trail to it. The wooden mount system is hinged at the rear and allows me to lift the front while the dog remains in the bag while fueling. I wish there was an easy mount system I could recommend however something custom would have to be fabricated.

Hello, thanks for caring about the dogs. We use cotton balls in their ears when we ride at high speeds. This at least helps keep the wind out. We learned this from our groomer who does the same thing when she blow dries dogs. She says it make a huge difference in how the dogs react so we feel it makes a difference when they ride as well. We have also tried human ear plugs however they do not stay in as well. Mercedes is now 6 years old and has travelled over 10,000 miles and we have not noticed any difference in her hearing ability.
