I take my dog riding on my venture bike all over the country but I put a harness on her because it is far safer if they decide to jump out and their collar slips off their neck. The harness holds the body not the neck which could choke them. Something to consider.
Yes that is good idea. I've rode with my dog probably 10k miles or so, he's pretty well used to riding and hunkering down in the bag now and he just relaxes his head on the edge of it. He rides and goes everywhere with us, he is an adventure puppy.
I carry my 2 Yorkies (10 lbs total) in one and just love it. The only bad comments I have is that the sides tend to crumple, my dogs aren’t tall enough to look out while sitting so they do by standing with their front legs outside. Putting all the weight on the sides. From what I can see, yours does the same thing.
Yes I built a wooded frame and put around the edges and keeps bag shape good now, (not in video) just using some scrap wood I had around. But the bag is good it stays in place and dog has been safe and loves riding. And Yorkie s are very small so I'd day they would struggle to see over.
In retrospect, I wouldn’t buy this bag again. It isn’t rigid enough on the bottom or sides, and deforms when you tighten down the bag. If it had an internal frame, ad ringlets on the bottom of the bag - as opposed to only being on the sides, it would be perfect.
Is your dog bigger now and fit? I've got a parsons terrier 21lb lean. Measurements look perfect height but maybe he's a bit long to be comfortable, if the hole on top was offset it would probably be perfect. The bigger version is way too tall to be on the back of my bike
I dont know if it would work for a dog that big or not. My dog is 12 probably getting close to 15lbs now. But he fits he's a chiweenie daschund mix, so he's longer than most dogs though and does good. 21 pounds would be getting borderline big for the bag probably.
@Biker Believer thanks for the reply mate, didn't want to risk wasting money and like a bit of fabricating so bought a large used quality topbox to hack up and modify for him. I've made a system where it's in normal topbox placement for when i've got a pillion but can slide and lock it in forward just behind me when solo to block the wind out and he's a bit more comfortable than hanging right over the back
I have no idea. I just got mine about a year ago. I just know it's the kuryakyn pet palace and has done extremely good for my 15lb chiweenie. 19lbs may be ok but could be borderline big for bag.
I have no idea. I've got it to fit on three of my bikes using straps and bungee chords. Vulcan 650 s probably closest thing to cruiser style bike I don't see why couldn't make it work just got to find good tie down spots.
Thanks for the real world review, with your pup. I’ve got a 14lb cairn terrier. This is the best comparison for my dogs size. Thanks!
no problem

Thanks for the vid. That was quick.
No problem made it specifically for you he he
Great video ive been looking for something for my frenchie
Oh yes, if he or she is comfortable with riding and learns, it is a great setup, I take Tanner my pup with me all the time.

I made a frame for mine on the inside, and still using it. But yeah you are right.
Have you tried putting this on your Moto Guzzi V7? I'm looking at one of these to use on my V7 Special for my mini Schnuazer.
Yes it works well on it.
@@bikerbeliever8169 good to know, thanks!

Was looking on the web and they have a grand pet palace. Is that the one you have that’s just updated or is it actually bigger. My Sam is 19 lbs

Can I put an 80lb English bulldog in it?
No
Will this fit a Harley softail
