Please explain Matthew 24:36, 42 where Jesus said: “Concerning that day and hour nobody knows, neither the angels of the heavens nor the Son, but only the Father.” How can the Son NOT know if he is also the Father. All of your explanations do dot Prove your point. There are so many people on this thread that are judging Brandon when they cannot stand by their own beliefs.
Tatum says, "it should be translated as IT, as in IT was life and that life was the life of men" he thinks it should be translated as an inanimate object but how does an inamimate object have life in it? And how does that jive with verse 14 that says "and the word became flesh". So God made an inanimate object alive and he was Jesus?
I respect B Tatum, but when he challenged anyone about Jesus Christ not being God, I thought the Lord will have a way to humble him. Lo and behold, a challenger entered the ring. Spewing truth for the Glory of God.

Honestly, what turned me away from him was seeing his reaction to Trump’s loss a while after the fact. I would’ve preferred to see a humble reaction, trying to understand more the side that voted against him and accepting that we’re not always right cause we’re not God. Also, we need to glorify Jesus/God over any president of any country in the world. Always.

Yes he is so humble. I love the first clip in this video, where he was explaining himself and that he "...hopes it edifies you and glorifies God." I was like,,, who says that! He is literally the first person I've ever heard explain himself and a debate in such a biblical and upright way.

I think the argument shouldn’t be presented as whether the “trinity is valid or not”. It should simply be “are you actually a Christian not believing that Jesus is God.” Because there is so much missed with relationship with God not believing that Jesus is God. There is a revelation missed by focusing on whether or not God the father and Jesus are the same. The revelation is that God IS our father. He is a dad, a papa to us. Jesus and God are one the same.

That was the response after Jesus said "The Father and I are one" People just need to stick to the narrative. Jesus never dismissed the interpretation of the Pharisees when it came to his claims. The ultimate reason why people fail to believe in Christ i.e. God incarnate, is because of pride. Just like the Pharisees, Tatum was presented with proof beyond all reasonable doubt that Christ is God. Yet, he refuses to believe. Let us pray that God strips him of his pride and regenerate his unbelieving heart so that he repents and place faith in the true Christ!

I don’t care about knowing Greek grammar. In English, in multiple parts of the Bible, Jesus says he is God. One with the Father. The Jewish leadership had Jesus executed because Jesus claimed to be equal with God.

@@TriciaRP I wasn't aware of his numerous ex-wives, which for all I know this was all before he came to Christ, but I agree that he seems to be a false doctrine teacher. At least from what I've seen. From when I first saw him around, a number of years ago now, the Spirit was telling me there was something off and the more I've seen the more I've had that feeling. I've seen a lot of false teaching, with him seemingly absolutely confident in what he's saying. I pray for him to come to the truth, just as I do for Brandon. This was the video that made me unsub from Tatum. I have lots of respect for his political views, but his outspoken attacks on Jesus have always made me feel uncomfortable. I have also noticed an increase in pride as Brandon becomes more famous and more financially wealthy. Sadly, he is spiritually bankrupt. His pride is evident in many of his political videos from the past ~2 years, as well. But when Brandon began rolling his eyes, interrupting, and insulting Anthony, who is very educated and is generously giving his time to help him learn, I saw that his heart was hardened. I will pray for him, but I no longer listen to him.
Yeah its rather frustrating. I mean it seems impossible to me how you cant understand Christ is Yah and Yah is Christ. One in the same yet different and It states when Christ died for our evil sins He was put upon the right hand of God and all authority was given to Him. Your partially right as the Word is very clear however just as Christ told the three disciples that accompanied Him up on the mountain, its given to the people in parables so some may hear but not hear and others would see but not see. It was given to those disciples the secrets of Heaven and of the Father. So in that what is wrong with thinking on this beautiful gift of the very Word of Jesus Christ. Its not as if i discounted or said some heresy. The Holy Ghost is a force, dont you ever feel the electric and comforting presence of it when you pray to the Lord Jesus? Brandon seems like a nice guy, but it's a red flag when someone says, "Scholars say...", and then be unable name the "scholar". This means Brandon didn't research the scholar to determine said scholar's qualifications. He found someone who says something he already believes and just goes with it. Jehovah's Witnesses do the exact same thing.
EXACTLY. And not only that, as well as studying a bit of greek and hebrew words. When I am studying a difficult topic, although I have commentaries, I try to understand the definition of the hebrew/greek words so I'm not saying the scholars, the scholars.
I don't remember the names of all the people I've heard say things where the spirit testified to me. Sometimes I even took notes and I couldn't tell you them offhand. Now if I were challenging people and thought I would need to refer to them, it would be best if I were prepared and looked them up, but off the cuff I probably wouldn't. :)

Tatum says, "it should be translated as IT, as in IT was life and that life was the life of men" he thinks it should be translated as an inanimate object but how does an inamimate object have life in it? And how does that jive with verse 14 that says "and the word became flesh". So God made an inanimate object alive and he was Jesus?

I think the argument shouldn’t be presented as whether the “trinity is valid or not”. It should simply be “are you actually a Christian not believing that Jesus is God.” Because there is so much missed with relationship with God not believing that Jesus is God. The name Immanuel given to Jesus or anyone else, would not cause the Jews to think God was with them physically but to serve as a sign that God was with them in support, backing them.
Consider too the name “Jehu” means “Jehovah is He” but that does make “Jehu” the same being as Jehovah does it? “Eli’atha” means “God Has Come.” The name “Ithiel,” means “God is with me” but it is safe to say that his parents did not believe their son was God. (Proverbs 30:1) What about the other many Bible names given to others similar to these?

I have also noticed an increase in pride as Brandon becomes more famous and more financially wealthy. Sadly, he is spiritually bankrupt. His pride is evident in many of his political videos from the past ~2 years, as well. I don’t think he has a reprobate mind and we should think twice about throwing that term around carelessly. His issue is pride and ignorance, if he were to humble himself and accept Godly teaching that would correct the problem. When we claim that some one has a reprobate mind you are claiming that they are beyond salvation and only God can determine that and making that statement is like declaring you know as much as he does. Remember we will be judged for every careless word.

Jesus gave his life for our salvation and denying God died for our sins and denying the holy spirits connection is up there with the worst things a Christian can do. Brandon seems like a nice guy, but it's a red flag when someone says, "Scholars say...", and then be unable name the "scholar". This means Brandon didn't research the scholar to determine said scholar's qualifications. He found someone who says something he already believes and just goes with it. Jehovah's Witnesses do the exact same thing.
EXACTLY. And not only that, as well as studying a bit of greek and hebrew words. When I am studying a difficult topic, although I have commentaries, I try to understand the definition of the hebrew/greek words so I'm not saying the scholars, the scholars.
I don't remember the names of all the people I've heard say things where the spirit testified to me. Sometimes I even took notes and I couldn't tell you them offhand. Now if I were challenging people and thought I would need to refer to them, it would be best if I were prepared and looked them up, but off the cuff I probably wouldn't. :)
