Got it open eventually too thanks to this instructional video. Thank you very much because there doesnt appear to be many other folks attempting this specific lock on UA-cam. Keep up the good work my kiwi counterpart.
Hehe nice one! Yea us upside-down folk can still decode locks. Well done for decoding yours. Yea I can get my hands on Lockwood's, easier than some other locks that are popular overseas anyway 😉
I've been decoding combi's for a while and I have to say the Lockwood Assa Abloy 4 wheel 40mm is one of the toughest combi's that I've decoded. You were very brave to try and decode it straight of of the box, so well done
Thank you for the kind words! :D :D Yea I really struggled. I did a much better job in my video 72, where I do the same thing with a 4-wheel version of the Lockwood Assa Abloy.
@@Swynndla I've watched that as well, you handled that very well. Maybe I should have started with the three wheeled version first....... or maybe the two wheeled version. Lol 😂
@@sotonlock7894 it took me a while to figure out the right technique (start at the wheel closest to the shackle, find the number loosest play (easiest to jiggle back-and-forth), move the next wheel, do the same, etc until it opens). Now I know the correct method, I can literally do it with my eyes closed - good for if it's dark etc. The only problem now is sore fingers :D :D
Thank you, i have exactly the same lock that the combo had been forgotten on. Watching your video mine sprung open after 3 mins of tension and testing :D
I just received some decoder shims and keen to start practicing the technique, but the only combo lock I have to practise on is a 40mm 4-wheel one of these 150 series! Good to know I'm not just being hamfisted and they are actually a bit challenging to decode. Will have a watch and see how I go... EDIT: Open after 6 or 7 minutes. Might have lucked out a bit, the last 2 wheels fell into true gates and I only had to fiddle with the first two before it sprung open. :) Cheers from Sydney mate!
Tough one. That required a lot of work buddy. "I'm running out of numbers" - very funny wording, but I often felt the same. Great video. I could improve my ability to feel the difference of true and false gates by analyzing the feedback at several known lock states. The most difficult difference is between a true gate with inner wheels at heavy friction and a false gate. I wish you good luck with all the other locks. Looking forward to the videos.
Thank you kind sir! :D :D Yes I remember you talking about feeling the difference between the inner & outer wheels - I haven't developed that skill yet ... I'll keep practicing. :D Thanks once again my friend.
Well done, Swynndla. You are half way there. To change the combo pull out and rotate shackle 180 degrees so the shackle aligns with the slot. Depress the shackle into the slot and hold down then set new combo then release the shackle. Looking good. Cheers:-)

Thanks, forgot my code and you've helped me decode it, much appreciated!
Excellent! :D :D

Excellent! ... you now have some great skills. Well done! ... and hello neighbour!
Wow that was the tough with my friend well done😊👍😊😊✌😎
Yea it took ages to figure out. I'm still playing with it. I'm taking it away for the weekend, and i might be able to find more secrets.
...and I forgot to say, thank you for watching my friend. :D :D
Wow, very complex feedback from that one, congrats for the decoding buddy, that was exciting ;o)))
Thank you buddy! :D :D

Thank you Paul for these loverly fun gifts! Half way though them but now things start to get even tougher for me - lots of fun! :D :D
Really . . . 3 wheels and it took that long. My 5yo is faster than you
I am quite fast on normal combination locks, but this one is quite tricky.
