As much as I want that LC, I have to skip and plan to use Memories of the Past instead since I recently pulled my fifth copy on the standard banner so it is now S5. Will be saving my pulls after getting Ruan Mei on either Black Swan or Sparkle or maybe both if I’m lucky.

I'm still gonna use MOTP on her myself as I want her and Blade's Lightcone for Blade who I legit enjoy using and is rocking a S1 Arlant LC, but not gonna lie though I did knew this Lightcone would be really dang strong as Bronya's Signature is really dang strong. (It ain't as versatile though unless your using BE Asta or I guess Hanya while Bronya's is legit good on anybody if you Spd tune them for the DMG boost) Still legit a Strong Lightcone with Eidolons that are pretty reminiscent of E1 Fu vs Fu's signature LC. Ie: Like fu's E1, Ruan Mei's E1 and E2 are insane.
I would definitely be going for her LC now if we didn't have Sparkle coming, and possibly Acheron, but I do have Memories of the Past at S5... and I have enough pulls to guarantee Ruan Mei, but even if I win the 50/50... Yeah, I need every pull I can get, with or without Acheron. lol Ruan Mei's a really strong character as it is. On some future rerun, it'd be a great upgrade to get her LC or E1.

The 5* Harmony characters seem to have a means of recovering SP. It's not as reliable as Sparkle but with them and characters like Hanya and Tingyun (who is SP+), is Sparkle still a must-pull? I was vaguely interested and she's cute but I prefer to vertically invest for now and I'm not going for mono-quantum. I do use SP hungry units as my mains like Qingque and DHIL though.
Sparkle is not really a must pull for IL team if you already got hanya more like a luxury pull. For qq sparkle is gonna make her wayyy better than what she already is and if you use both IL and qq then why not.

Do you have the 1.1 Event R5 Silver Wolf Tutorial LC? If so, that is her Best LC, since it reduces 1 basic attack in her rotations to fill up her bursts.
@@JMike-bq6rl a bit depends for E0 or E1 then, yes that's free 4* LC is the best for her. But for dps build (E2 or higher) then her sign is actually better thanks for the extra damage
@@danielak1666 Most of her DMG is based on her Burst Uptime, looking at her E4 and 6. The Faster and how often you can spam her Burst is the key to get more DMG out of her IMO. It's definitely easier to build her with Crit if she is E2 for sure. Coz that Hitrate factor is what's holding her back.
The light cone can be placed on other units, E1 is fixed in one place at all times. Completely your choice, if you manage to get both then problem solved.

@@zzanzz8396her lightcone has some anti synergy with herself. If you don't run s5 cogs or s5 memory 3t ult turns into 4t ult. LC is also not really good on any other harmony since only the dmg bonus and wave based energy can be used (not the sp per ult) Her e1 is stronger and only a pro, s1 has pros but also cons and isn't nearly as flexible as some people say.
@@zzanzz8396 it depends on the account, the easy way to solve the confusion is E1 and S1, in practicality if you want the flexibility to try things out and don't want to be restricted you go for the light cone, it will open more flexibility to buff account wide, if you just want to E1 you will be tied to that unit and will gain a benefit yet lose a lot of flexibility, E1 S1 combo will solve the problem, there's no right or wrong it doesn't matter what you choose other than to balance your resources and build the account you want.
i will hold off on her light cone until my "sources" have accurate info on what Black Swan's light cone would be as Black Swan takes Priority, but i will probably get Ruan Mei, i do not have Memories of the past but i have a good number of standard banner pulls so i will try to get it there, otherwise i will use s5 cogs, i am also Guaranteed a 5 star signature/limited light cone so i will hold off until i have evaluated my options. My current build for Ruan Mei has just about the exact "Break effect goal" that her 3rd trace requires if my "sources" are correct so either way s5 cogs should not be too bad on her. If the Lightcone is a 5 star Coggers/MotP, with +8 Energy, then I would say that is a Must Pull for All Harmony Characters.
S5 MoTP is better it’s 3t ulti, getting her e1 is better you get 66% uptime on 20 defence down and 25% penetration it’s broken

It's extremely amazing and worth pulling for it no matter what ? No... not at all.
break effect & skill point aside, every harmony unit ult can trigger that 24% dmg regardless so it's indeed very very strong.
