Is there a lot of transportation from the local island to the resort islands? I want to do what you did, stay at a local island for 3 nights and then go to a luxury resort for 5. Do we have to go to Male for the starting point or is there transportation from island to island?
No there is not a lot of transportation to the resort island, normally only provided by the resort. Most of the time Male is the starting point for going to both resort Islands islands and local islands. But If you are going to a local Island first, then check with the hotel where you are stying, if you can go directly to the resort from there, or if you have to go back to Male.

It depends of how many people you are traveling, and if you want to visit local islands only or also resort islands (it is more expensive). And how many activities do you want to do. Are you happy to stay in a local island and stay in and AirBnB or do you want to stay only in resorts on small islands.

Hi .. Very nice video n very informative. We have a vacation planned for maldives next month Feb 9-15. Questions for u. 1. Whats the best island to do water activities like snorkeling and parasailing

Yes, when you book a room or a Villa on Malahini, they pick you up in the airport on the main Island of Male

The boat cost 100 us dollar per person.
hi i am planning for maldives... when you travelled from mafushi to malahini.... how much you paid for speed boat in USD?
What we did, we took the localboat from Maafushi to Male and then the boat to the airport from Male (that only cost 5 dollars per person) And then from the airport we where picked up by the hotel in a speedboat, because you can only go to Malahini in the hotels own speedboat. I remember it as 85 us dollars per person. But please check with the hotel to be sure😀

how did you organise the trip to the sea bank in the middle of now where? how much did it cost to get there?
We took that tour from the Local Island of Maafushi - And It was not expensive - it only cost 35 Us dollars per person, and that also Included snorkeling. Have you seen my other video about activities in the Maldives?

You can take the localboat from the airport to Male (the main island) it only cost 1 dollar pr. person and takes only 10 min. and from the main island you can take local boats to the islands. I do not know if there is cheap speedboats - sorry
