I know it’s for gameplay purposes. But I feel like it’s silly that the Kylo ren saber is like a heavy weapon. It’s still made of light… which doesn’t weight anything
Lightsabers aren't made of light. It's a powerful energy weapon with a blade made of consecrated plasma focused through a kyber crystal. They've always been depicted as having some amount of weight to them and George Lucas even wanted them fighting with two hands on the hilt to show that weight. The best explanation I have is the energy coursing through the hilt makes it hard to control and heavy. Mando and Sabine both struggle using lightsabers at first because they're unfocused and fight the blade. Because lightsabers are strongly connected to the force someone using one needs to at the very least be focused and respecting the weapon. The crossguard Saber can be heavier in game because the blade is longer and more powerful making it require more to wield.

He hadn't finished his training as a Padawan and was still fairly young when Order 66 happened AND he cut himself from the force for a while, so he probably lost some of his lightsaber training alongside his fighting techniques. There's also 7 (8 including Vapaad) Forms of single saber fighting styles, with Jar'Kai as a separate Form for two sabers. I think Cin Drallig was the only one who mastered all 7 Forms as the Jedi Battlemaster. Also, saberstaff users were fairly rare so there wouldn't be many saberstaff specialists and Cal was training with a single saber when Jaro Tapal died.

Oh boy...how You have the Game?
A very fсng interesting spider-man simulator game (endless crawling on walls), brandishing a light club (not an elegant lightsaber), beating opponents to death with the 10th blow (not cutting, we have a club instead of a saber, remember?) Where are you, Jedi Academy...
Academy was fire 🔥
3:5O super metroid easter egg
Not sure but Cal's limbic movement still look junky. I thought it would be more realistic in the sequel but no.
Hopefully we can fight darth Vader as a boss in the game even if cal doesn’t win, I hope that we don’t just do a complete run away but it depends
I'm hoping for a much more expanded mediation arena. With all enemy types.
@@dustinakadustin heck yea man
No. Cal is not and should not be a threat to Vader in any way. Stop it. Stop trying to make another stupidly OP Starkiller character who can beat all the top franchise villains by himself. Let Cal be what he is. A normal Jedi. Not a Luke Skywalker level galactic legendary power. We had our Vader moment already, and it was perfect for me. If we meet him again, we should die or run very fast away yet again. End of story.
@@Skankhunt42.... I’m just sayin bro chill, I don’t mean Vader as a boss and cal being a threat to Vader. I’m just sayin it will be cool to fight an invincible boss like the previous game. You need to chill oiut

Honestly looks like more of the same from the first game, and that aint a bad thing cuz the first game was AWESOME, and with the addition of fast travelling, this looks to be an improvement and refinement of the core mechanics!!!..
Yeah it does look pretty similar to the first game. Some combat animations the running and wall running and jumping. It's fine until you realize you're paying $70 for a game that basically has all the same animations
@@spaghettisauce1104 If they aint broke then why would they feel they need to fix em, js!!!..
@@dmxdxl who said anything about being broken? Like I said it's just the fact that you're paying $70 for basically the same game. The same stiff ass movement and running animations. The same combat animations. Back in the day games used to switch up the animations that way you have a clear difference and hopefully improvement for a sequel rather than just the same reused shit. Why pay full price for a game that's just reused asset's? It's no wonder EA takes advantage of its consumers. People are just conteint to eat up whatever shit they throw out. js!!!
@@spaghettisauce1104 Did you miss the two completely new stances (not to mention blaster stance that hasn’t been showcased yet) with new animations? Plus the story and world map itself are set to be much different. Idk why you’re saying we’d be paying 70 bucks just for animations when all of that is different. Really just the single bladed stance is the same, otherwise everything else has new animations (including the double bladed stance)
@@SolBlade4035 you're really just trying to straw man the argument by saying "the story and world map are different" like yeah I'd hope so that's the bare fucking minimum for making a new game. Yes they have some new stances which is cool but seeing the same movement from the first game. The same wall climbing animation the same animation with the saber and double saber is just weird for a new game.
Oh man... The walk animation looks freaking weird... Awful.
The walk animations is from Cameron himself.. they put the sensors on his and had him walk and run lol.. so you’re saying Cameron walks weird?
@@JuanGonzalez-vn7zg freaking weird indeed! 😁
Yeah his walk/run in the first game was weird as well. I was hoping they fixed his weird bow legs but nope
Yep! It looks like he wants to take a crap. 😂 I've noticed since they release the first gameplay preview.
Nitpick at the end of the day. Doesn’t ruin this game at all
Need a star killer remake
this game would be so fucking cool !
All these npcs capable of fighting a jedi in melee make no sense to me. I guess thats why I liked Jedi Knight Series - it made you feel like a real jedi lol
I'm not sure how this does not make sense. There are a bunch of warrior that trained more than Jedi in close combat, and there are enough types of weapons that could clash against lightsabers.
They need to go back to models and fix the joints on his legs. Amateurs 😂
Unreal 4 or 5? 🤔
