I love that you love this. Kylie’s collaborations are highlights in her career. The thing about her is that no matter how legendary her duet partner is her personality and artistic influence is always strong and on-point. Like you said it always ends up sounding like a classic Kylie track, regardless of the genre.. goth rock, indie pop, electro, techno, jazz, adult contemporary, world music.. you name it Kylie has featured on it and she’s never once embarrassed herself ❤️

To me Kylie working with Giorgio made her the undisputed Queen of Dance in the same way as Michael is the King of Pop, Madonna is the Queen of Pop and Donna is the Queen of Disco. Kylie just does dance music so much better than anyone else that she's just that chick enough to get godfather of electronic and techno music to work with her. They also have a song together called your body which is such a sexy song.

I’ve loved Kylie for years- since Spinning Around to Wow to Get Outta My Way. She is a pop icon for sure. To this day, she remains as popular as Madonna in the UK. Still, hard for me to accept she is the “undisputed” Queen of Dance when M has 50 #1s on that chart alone. Her flavor of disco-pop is certainly infectious and joyful. No doubt she belongs up there and no argument she is royalty… just think she’s outgrown her Princess of Pop title and titles seem to be in short supply in 2022.
@@tomrobinsondc Madonna may have 50 number 1s but you can't be the queen of pop as well as queen of dance. Pop is mainstream and global though dance can be underground. That is why I consider Kylie the Queen of Dance more because even though she is successful mainstream pop artist in the UK, Europe and her native country she is not in others but she has broken records in the dance category in other countries and has dominated it for years the US for example. Madonna has touched everything under the sun when it comes to music and fashion and politics but she did it being a mainstream artist, Kylie on the other like I said before just isn't mainstream she is underground and can if she wanted to take more risk because of that but at the end of it all her DNA unlike Madonna is dance. That's why I give her the title.
