I love the image of everyone at CSS working their asses off to produce updates and patches, sitting at their desks and furiously coding, and then these two spending a whole day filming the same outro sequence 25 times to close the loop on a bit that exists only for comedic effect. Love it. 😂😂😂😂😂
Speaking as a (non-game) dev, I have faith the devs at CSS see the value in what these two do. I have to believe they are cheering them on, because at the end of the day, the personality these two inject into these videos translates into a greater sense of authenticity and community engagement, which means more sales for Satisfactory and future CSS titles. To put it in Satisfactory terms, the community managers are power shards overclocking the work done by the devs. I would be thrilled to have someone like that helping my work reach more people, no matter how silly their process might look at times.
I'm gonna legit miss these videos when Satisfactory fully releases and CSS moves on. I hope their next game project spawns videos like this. I love the Snutt & Jace Show.

Not only did Coffee Stain develop Satisfactory, but as a publisher they also really know how to find hidden gems. They're the publisher that helped fund and publish A Story About My Uncle, Deep Rock Galactic and Valheim. They're one of the only game studios I care about at this point.

Those devs had a once in a lifetime opportunity launch success and followed it up with nothing for years. The best parts of the game are things modders had to fix and add. So many other games that are more complex and take much more work from studios that are smaller than Valheims receive significant updates frequently. I've never seen devs fumble an opportunity like they had in the history of gaming. Satisfactory itself has never reached HALF of the concurrent peak that Valheim got due to an insane viral launch. Yet Satisfactory has been updated substantially several times since and is a much more complex and high quality game.

So you're capping hard when you say smaller teams have done more, when there literally can't be a game made with less than ONE developer. But you're acting like it's some spectacular and unique failure for a single developer team to drop the ball when their game unexpectedly becomes the hottest game on PC and all eyes turn their way; I'd say it was somewhat expected and not that surprising. Besides, the game was fun with the content it was released with, and me and the homies are having a great time getting back into it this week while we try to make our way to the new Mistlands biome that dropped a few weeks ago. Honestly, out of all the community managers for all the games I play, Jace and Snoot are by far my favourite with all the silly humour they put into each of their videos :D
I used the "Linear motion" mod which provides elevators, however i would like to have such features native to the game. Every update usually breaks the mods for days, means no more playing until the mods are fixed.

I mean, i've played without kindding thousands of games, a lot in alpha, or pre alpha or already released, you know what I mean. Well, The community managers, the earing given to us, the work and every thing make us want to follow your progresses, not only as "a" game studio, but as a GROUP of PEOPLE DOING WHAT THEY LOVE. At the very beginning I was kinda hating on this strange behavior but now I want to take all that back. You guys really did an amazing job and I think you guys should give classes in how to support a comunity while also going your own way. Every update that came brought something amazing with it and also managed to not screw around with mods everytime. This game is simply amazing and after years of playing cities skylines this is my new holy Gral when it comes to building games and modability its crazy what yoz guys pulled of so far

Its a trend I wish all dev studious would follow. but I have a feeling its never to be. I hope this game is even more wildly successful after the full release. Please consider adding a building for Lizard Doggo that will take resources from him automatically and send them to the conveyor. oh man i still remember that 2/3 of sugestions i made community harrased me for "we dont need it" "this is not factorio" and by now all of them reached the game , with 1 exeption and that is creature expansion/farming/ranching who is last sugestion i made , and only one community not harrased me for it.

Cool merch idea: a glow slug glue slug. When I was a child, I once had a toy called a glue slug. It was a transparent and colored slug made out of a gelatin substance and covered with some sticky chemical. You could make glue slugs shaped like the in-game glow slugs!
Train Idea: if we could load/ unload multiple cars on the same freight or liquid station. Also an inventory management system would be great. A station, machine, factory, would request X number of Y product so the train goes to Z to retrieve the product and deliver to X. It also knows which other locations have X available if it runs out. You could build a central storage facility for quick retrieval.
Holy cow I have wanted this EXACT thing (blueprinting) for a while! Amazing to see it realized. Also the conveyor features are SO appreciated. Just when it seems the best can't get better...this game is insane like cocaine, guys

The update maybe small, but the impact of it is huge. I spent almost my entire day yesterday messing with the blueprints. This is just amazing game and looking forward to more. Big or small updates, I like them all.

Cool merch idea: a glow slug glue slug. When I was a child, I once had a toy called a glue slug. It was a transparent and colored slug made out of a gelatin substance and covered with some sticky chemical. You could make glue slugs shaped like the in-game glow slugs!

Literally every single Game Dev Studio should take a lesson on communicating with their players from Coffee Stain.
Train Idea: if we could load/ unload multiple cars on the same freight or liquid station. Also an inventory management system would be great. A station, machine, factory, would request X number of Y product so the train goes to Z to retrieve the product and deliver to X. It also knows which other locations have X available if it runs out. You could build a central storage facility for quick retrieval.
