    Thanks for these awesome examples! For electronics geeks like me who do more soldering on circuit boards, an important tip: Turn the heat on the iron all the way up! Something you'd never do with circuit boards...but the wires can suck up a lot of heat.

      Just use the right size tip. Its not about heat. Its about head transfer.
