Thanks for putting this video together. It's great to see passion like yours. Also, it's great to see mostly unedited video of things many take for granted. I work as a mechanic for Air Canada at YUL and my brother works as a senior engineer for the company that makes the in-flight entertainment system on this aircraft. (Thales.) I heard all the stories about the struggles and challenges regarding testing, engineering, time constraints etc. regarding setting up that new system. The AC you're on in this video is FIN 502. My brother spent many days and months away from home to ensure that the IFE worked correctly on this aircraft before it was put into service with Air Canada. Glad you enjoyed the flight.
Agtronic Well that’s awesome! It seems like your brother did a good job! I enjoyed the IFE, too bad the flight wasn’t long enough to appreciate it more!
@@SkyblueAviation not me, 737 MAXs are the worst planes ever and they should be retired scrapped and never fly again. Air Canada Should Order A319NEOs, A320NEOs, A321NEOs, A321LRs, A321XLRs, and Embrarer E190-E2s and they’ll be a good replacement for the 737 MAXs. Air Canada’s New A220s will Also Be A Good Replacement For The 737 MAXs. I’m never going to fly on a 737 max if they don’t retire them
Matthew Derohanessian Thank you!! Yes, that would be a good idea. For the next report coming up, I’m trying a new format where we can briefly see a part of the city! Stay tuned :D
@@aviay Especially the way the media have presented it. When will people understand: THE 737 MAX DOES NOT NEED THE M.C.A.S. TO FLY. It is simply a case of "good idea, horrible execution". They seem to have found yet another software flaw, so I REALLY hope Boeing get their goddamn act together and fix this plane.
Awesome flight report man! New subscriber and be I’ll looking forward to new videos👊 By the way since you fly out of Canada routinely, what’s your view on Air Canada’s service? I’ve always wanted to fly them but I’ve seen bad reviews about their service.
MrBerg4ever Thank you for your comment! Because it’s been a while since my last international flight with Air Canada, I can’t really give an opinion about them on that side. But I was for sure surprised about their 737 MAX 8! Hopefully I’ll be flying to Europe on AC’s 777 or 787 soon to review their long haul service. Stay tuned! :D
Skyblue Aviation cool! Yeah Air Canada’s new aircraft definitely look amazing. I’ll be definitely looking forward to those long haul trips, keep up the hard work bro!👊
I fly Air Canada about 4 times per year. They have excellent service. You read negative comments because people are more likely to post bad thoughts rather than positive thoughts online.
The "sunglasses" are part of their livery. They are a nod to the indigenous peoples of western Canada. If you look at their artwork and totem poles, you will see the shading across the eyes.
If you could, take a second and re-read what you wrote. Please realize that thousands of dedicated people have given everything they had in their capacity to design, engineer and build this aircraft. Like the wonderful A320 before it, this one is a culmination of human effort. It's really not fair to call it garbage. Surely something about the A320 resonates with you, maybe it's nostalgic. Let's hope the 737 Max will have the same prosperous career that the Airbus had.
Andrea Mendes I agree, the 737MAX is so ugly that even by watching pictures of it today I still find it disgusting compared to the 737NG and the A320 family. I think Boeing s engineers were drunk or completely retarted while designing the 737MAX . I like both Airbus and Boeing but in my opinion, the new boeings suck in terms of design

The business class seats seem to look like Premium Economy seats on their twin aisle aircraft.

They pretty much are
As all airlines(only Air Astana provides full flat beds in 1 aisle airplanes a321 neo)

Sick report Pierre! Awesome that you finally came to toronto😁
Thank you! I’m glad I got to see Pearson :D
Wonder why the safety demonstration was done manually and not on the screens before departure?
Thank you for uploading, a very informative trip report! I hope next time you can show briefly the city too once you leave the airport!

Why do the max engines sound like a car engine
I wonder why air canada is the only airline to have the 737 MAX planes with sunglasses like Airbus" A330neo and the A350
GeneralGaming7274 Hi! The black “sunglasses” is part of their livery, so every aircraft in the fleet has it!

Check out their 777, 787, A330, A320 family all of them have those sunglasses/masks
Lucky yours didn’t crash xF
Awesome video! I had just flown on Air Canada's A220 this Sunday on the same route, and it was really amazing! Hope you have a chance to check it out!
Herb Fong photography Awesome! I’m indeed looking forward flying that plane soon. Keep an eye out for that! 😃

Woww luckyy guy bye bye fight 737-max8 I will never trust this plain
Just heard that these flying death traps are now grounded indefinitely
The moment I see "I will never trust this plane again" I scream inside

I was so DEVASTATED to learn that Air Canada had decided to replace their wonderful A320's with this GARBAGE of an airplane!!!

Agtronic yeah, totally having the same prosperous career like the A320, it’s not like the plane was grounded world wide.
Ha I say good riddance to the a320s! Cramped legroom and an inoperable ife!
This aged well.
