@@stefanniemiec8727 No I would suggest you haven't if you think that's a storm, the swells are tiny, a proper storm would could have 30ft or higher swells which would dwarf the Hovercraft (probably sink it too lol), don't think they are able to handle really bad weather, that's what got me looking.
@@stuarthamilton679 definitely. I grew up there - travelling regularly on that hovercraft route (started with SRN6) - proper storms will dwarf the craft. 🌊😜
Peter
Not flying into the wind they dont!, As well, they have to slow down, they cant plow into big waves that might damage the skirt or other parts of the hovercraft
they're faster but heading into winds like this they aren't! and they have to slow down not to hit any big waves that could possibly damage the skirt or hovercraft
Better than anything at Alton Towers
Good footage . But if that was a storm they would not let it cross although here it is quite choppy. But otherwise I do like the vid
if thats a storm then im mickey mouse
So Mickey. You have never been on the sea then🙄

It’s the title that is overblown. You can see that the conditions are hard, even if not a storm.
and the music..
It would have been better without the sound track. Let us hear the wind and the engines!
Background music spoiled it.. Should have left the natural audio playing
Where's the storm? A little choppy water is not a storm... I'd call this a fail, to bad.
Music ruined the vid, shame, the video is brilliant.
I couldn´t agree more. The original sound of the scenery is what I want to hear - not some ... irrelevant electronic shit.

Good old Freedom 90!! Still going after nearly 40 years service. Was this in 2020?
No. The hovercraft shown were replaced with two new ones in late 2016.
It was retired after 28 years. There's a clue in its name.
I've had plenty of times like this 🙈🙈🙈 always manage to do the morning tester flight before they cancel crossings 🤣🤣🤣
. Might have been rough but it was like an aeroplane in turbulence .These hovercraft are designed to take it.
No problem . Just a small matter
I thought hovercrafts traveled faster?

@@AdrianDunevein sounds like manufactures need to do some R&D
Very slow !! ☹️☹️

Nice video. But please dump that stupid "music"
