That blue #71 Mustang is the AIX National Champion Chris Griswold. That car has about 1,000 hp (that's not a joke nor a typo); it's an insanely built car, and it cost far more to build than this SL-C did. On top of that, Chris can drive. Very few cars come close to laying down track times even close to his, so I'd say this is a hell of a showing for the SL-C. This car is for real. Nice job Ryan.
That blue Mustang is a death trap losing traction in the corners and is a blur in the straight away barley control it definitely see it rolling over very top heavy compared to a LMP car!
Nasho Nabo did you ever think that it wasn't made for audio and it was made for video? Trust me I've heard this car it growls. You recording with mono sound remember that
There is one with the bmw v10 and i think its much more fitting. If i ever build one for track duty its getting a 3 rotor mazda rotary and porsche gearbox to save weight
At first I was a bit 'meh' - but around 2.5mins in the driver wakes up and pushes harder and harder... Awesome race! That thing is stable as hell (great lines and throttle in the turns BTW) until you get the power down. Where's the rest of the video?! I need more!!!
lmfao i saw a lotus getting in the way and holding this guy back, from actually going balls out against the mustang, i dont know what video you were watching. though i gotta say i do love the 4.6 and the early 00 mustangs
I was sure at the after the first two minutes this guy wasn’t going to make any moves. Certainly could have used a little more bravery and skill, but all in all some pretty good driving.
ElGringo these tires took an insane amount of time to get warm, longer than any tire I’ve ever raced has taken. Sucks to lay back like that but when ya know you have the speed in the end it doesn’t matter.
@@ryanellisracing Oh true. I didn't think about the tires needing to get warm. That track looked pretty haggard too. Aside from it maybe not being very ideal for the type of car the SLC is.
ElGringo very very true. Aero hardly comes into play at this short choppy course. Mid Ohio was way better for that. Always ran great there. We had a very simple motor/brake package every race but obviously the car was phenomenal
blacktopbrutha88 5k😂😂😂 your lucky to have decent suspension and break set up. Also Chris in the blue 1k+ stang has 200k plus in the car and has won multiple division titles.
lol the slc is just cruising along on the inside of the corners while all the other cars are at their edge
Got dayam bugs.

Thanks for the ride... can I drive the next time ? 🤔😂👍
It would be nice to see a Nurburgring lap with this!!!!!

I am going to buy an Superlite
go for it!
that blue mustang? damn it takes off
It has around 1000 hp
That wing looks hilarious on that corvette :p
What's really unusual on that vette is the _front_ wing!!
mustang had a nuclear reactor under the hood
that mustang is fast!
Am i the only one that thinks that sound of the engine doesnt match the style of the car?
Nasho Nabo it's American power with an Italian design
The sound doesn't match the look, but it will if you throw a corvette badge on the front lol

nastyevilninja these tires take 2 laps to come in, very low traction when cold.
BEAST
Blue Mustang = Turbo.... very quick
Can someone tell what that small race car is please and thank you?!?!
did this car completed in 2014? are there links? I'd like to see it run the nasa virginia 3 hour.
