Check out "Trapdoor Solution" and "Smoke & Mirrors" from The Hives' (they're getting old by now, but yet they refuse to grow old) latest album, released a month or two ago, if you feel like it. That whole album has some old school punk in a nonsense-yet-melodic songs, combined with other more rock n' roll-sounding songs throughout the album, if you want a good listening.

Long story short, black neighborhoods were wiped out to build highways. It's really sad because this happened all over america and in some way, shape, and form is still happening. Many people don't know the history behind the roads that get them across town. If I run into an accurate article I'll definitely come back to this comment section and share it. I get happy everytime someone wants to know about the forgotten history.

More like a throwback to mid/early 2000's alt rock. Jimmy Eat World, etc. Coulda been on the soundtrack for Burnout: Vengeance. Just different vocal styles and a bit more minimalism.
