- On Today's Episode of the RPM Web Series, we put the 6.2L Silverado on the dyno after we just installed it's new 2.9L Whipple Supercharger. We also dyno tune a cammed G8 & Chevy Caprice PPV.

@@hollowellreid 103k. Had 90ish when I bought it. Power is relative to the machine in my opinion. But great comparisons to other cars done there tho..... i blame the intake for most of my power gains;)....

Hey Brandon I’m looking to do the st1 Tsp cam. Did you have to get a larger stall converter along with that? I’m between BTR stage one or TSP without upgrading stall

Lol. Fran calling out the keyboard warriors of today. Compared to yesteryear actual interactions with each other. Damn the shop looks like its at capacity already. Those cars were super loud. That Trailblazer SS was looking so nasty as the Silverado was backing up onto the dyno. Can't wait to see the Camaro ZL1 hit the dyno. Great video.

I want my 2010 5.3 Silverado supercharged, however I have a bad noise I'm thinking from the lifter issue these trucks are known for. Would you guys fix this or would I need that serviced first?
Should I get a two piece drive shaft on my 2018 Silverado I heard the one piece are easy to break on the 4 doors?

I have a 2019 6.2 Denali 1500 with factory HPO kit exhaust and intake how much to add the 2.9 wipple and do i loose my cylinder deactivation with that.

Bsaint : The trick is to make a couple extra videos for when you’re going to be out. Start the videos off with a dyno vid... cut to 19mins of Sponge Bob... then end with a dyno vid. Poppa bear won’t know.

Found mistake at 18:30 it’s a L77 :) They were only originally supposed to be sold as fleet vehicles but a few dealerships found a loophole and started selling them to the public then Chevy found out and stopped it. Some dealer demos were sold too. I can’t wait to get another one.

Little lower on the pickup than I thought for a 6.2L. Although I thought you were going to use the k&n intake with the whipple.
My 5.3L with a Magnuson TVS2300 and full boltons made 480whp and 570wtq on a cool day and a dynojet. On a mustang dyno it made 420whp, and 520wtq.

I have a 2018 5.3 I added flowmaster muffler 40 series s&b cold air intake. You’ll see a difference in hp right away. A lot better to drive my next mod will be a spec10 throttle body control. I hate the lag and I’m sure I’ll see a bigger difference in performance. Hopefully this will

Its a tough decision between a whipple and a procharger.
@@boostedfiveoh really is. Part of me is still leaning procharger, but I know the whipple develops torque lower, where it's usually needed
I'm probably going to do an lsa blower on my 6.0 2500hd a lot cheaper then a Whipple or procharger

You want it to shift going into peak torque is why you typically want to go a little over peak, im trying to figure out why my 2017 L83 is making more power than this truck
