I have been making DIY cleaners for years! Love the peppermint floor cleaner. A common misconception about Lemon essential oil is that it contains citric acid. Simply not true. Unlike fresh lemon juice, lemon essential oil does not contain citric acid that can harm natural stone surfaces. It's safe for granite and marble. Ph-neutral and completely safe to use on the porous stone of granite and marble.
@@tinad4182 I mix up a bottle of floor cleaner using 2 cups distilled water. 3 T vinegar and 2 T rubbing alcohol and a few drops of peppermint or lemon oil.

I’m all for using baking soda and vinegar for cleaner!! I am guilty of getting “pine sole” or something similar in a lemon sent to use for the mop
This is great because its non toxic.
Thank you so much, I love DIY cleaners.
I love using baking soda to clean my glass hob, works a treat!

Essential oils are very expensive.. Dollar store cleaners are cheaper and work better.
Have you tried the DIY products? I'm going to try them to save money.
Do not use lemon oil on granite. Lemon is too acidic for granite just like vinegar is too acidic. Avoid citrus oils on granite
