Great Britain's Tom Daley and China's Chen Aisen put on a show in the 10m Platform Final at the 2017 edition of the FINA World Championships in Budapest scoring many perfect 10s across six rounds of dives. A cliffhanger battle for the Gold medal which deserves to be watched until the very end!

I am Chinese, a new fan of Tom Daley. Just recently noticed Tom Daley from Paris Olympics. As I learn more about him, the more I found him fascinating. What an incredibly superb diver. Indeed, Chinese divers are of world class. But it is not surprising that how good those Chinese divers could be, as they are trained day in and day out in an environment where almost all teammates are Olympic Gold medalists. In contrast, Tom doesn’t have such a favorable training environment. He stands out on his own, and made himself and his teammate Olympic Gold medalists. What a brilliant achievement. Lot’s of love to Tom Daley❤
What i appreciated most about this is you could totally see both of their complete focus and concentration. Both REALLY wanted it. There are also respectful to each other. Well done by both.
That's probably one of the best competitions I've seen between two excellent divers, talk about nailing dives, especially the last ones

Probably the best diving competition ever of all times, no one faltered. Both Tom & Chen pushed each other to perfection! I would probably want both to receive the Gold Medals!

The judges marked him a little up, also his dives were not as difficult as Chen's. Chen should have been the champion.
@@andrewzhang985 thats not true the coefficients were the same. Anyway, coefficient has nothing to do with execution quality. It only raises up the vote. Be honest please. You cannot allways win.

The best of the best footage of world-class diving competition! I have watched this video more than five times, and my amazement at these two superb divers (both of whom are Olympic gold medalists) never diminishes!

@@jonathancavallin4920 everyone has their own opinion, please respect it...and also thats the reason why diving use 7 judges and only take the middle 3 scores
@@arcadeplayer9804 The fact is that scores should be almost completely objective but it looks like some/many judges prefer to judge also considering the name of the diver and his/her country.

I agree he did outstanding.... but Chinese dive was at another level.
Chen won Olympic gold the year before. Tom didn’t even make it to the finals. Just goes to show how Tom just unfortunately had a bad day at the olympics and that hard work pays off. Unbelievable
Edit: Tom also got higher points than Chen did at Rio!

I must admit they are both talents, I am Chinese, but I would say D is a little bit better than Chen in the first three rounds, their performances are quite similar in the last three rounds.
Judging from just this competition, Tom's performance is slightly more consistent than Aisen in that particular event
@@siyuwoaini it was all in the entries....chen didnt have them like he did in Rio....Tom's entries were better, cleaner, the last impression before the judge submits their score....slight margin in victory, tho'
Tom Daley is way better, you chinese just can't accept it
being a Chinese I am have to admit that Tom's performence was abbosolutely perfect
And being American, I have to say Chen was phenomenal! It was an amazing competition.

They really did go in the finals of tokyo 2020. In 10m pair. Tom daley won gold and Chen Aisen won silver .The competition was so though.
@@entersachan5426 chen won gold in 2 events in Rio while Tom didnt qualify because he sucked and was inconsistent.....there was a huge improvement in his diving from 2016 to 2017.....and by 2020.....they weren't real factors individually, TD is the king of Bronze.....Aisen is the Golden Boy.....but everything that goes up must come down.

The best dive, the most difficult one, and the highest score of a dive belongs to Chen.
Sadly the overall best performer was Thomas Daley, and his 106 20 was the hardest xd
