WW1 dragging on until 1934, when Enrico Fermi discovers that artificial radioactivity can be induced in Uranium when bombarding it with neutrons. By then, on top of chemical weapons which have been used since 1915, advances in bomber design and bombing tactics have made bombing campaigns using conventional, chemical and biological weapons possible, laying the ground for the usage of nuclear weapons, leading to their rapid development and introduction at the front. From 1935 onwards, all sides used nuclear weapons along the western front to end the stalemate which has now lasted for 21 years. A stalemate made possible by rapid development of effective countermeasures against tanks, such as the recoilless anti-tank gun, which in this timeline has been available in large quantities from 1914 onwards, limiting the effectiveness of tanks as a breakthrough weapon. In the end, europe is completely devastated by chemical, biological and nuclear weapons. In this alternate version of history, 21st century Europe is largely uninhabitable, with a "zone rouge" not "just" limited to northern France (as it is in our timeline) but covering most of Europe including the former sites of major cities such as Paris, Aachen, Köln, Saarbrücken, Luxemburg, Metz, the Ruhr area etc. which, due to high levels of radiation and residual chemical weapons, have not been rebuilt since then.
Such a wholesome alt history, couldn't believe Possible History could make this while he was pregnant!

Love Serbia from 🇧🇬 after north Macedonia we have a Very close culture and Belgrade is very Beatiful.

I have a Christmas Scenario of my own. Kaiser Wilhelm visits the front and spends Christmas with his men and partakes in the Christmas Truce. He has a change of heart and begins to work with the pope for peace. Wilhelm begins to pull troops back from the front lines and begins calling for peace. The soldiers on both sides inspired by the Kaiser begin en masse to return home and protests to end the War begin. The governments of Europe fearing revolution would come to the negotiating table and after negotiations and border changes and reforms the war comes to and end. Kaiser Wilhelm then announces a European Vanguard dedicated to the continuation of prosperity and technological progress for Europe. The continent grows closer and more unified and Kaiser Wilhelm becomes known as the Father of Europe.

Also the decolonization would take longer since there would not be anyone pushing for it as the soviets and the US, also the Americas as a whole will have less development since the mayors europeans immigrations never happened

IRL, Germany was ready to negotiate peace *if* France gave up colony, which they didn't agree to. Had France given Germany their Equatorial Africa, there could have been peace by New Year.
And ww2 would've had no reason to happen as there's no need for the no-no party to exist or to have them as leaders

It is a partial misconception that it was a frontwide truce. Warwide was impossible, since the russians celebrated christmas on a different day, and the Turks didnt celebrate christmas. It was mostly between germans and englishmen, because many from both sides had visa'd work in both countries, so some spoke each other's language quite well. This isnt for lack of trying, but with few exceptions, the french mowed down any german who tried to come across the line peacfully.

This was a really well-deveoped scenario, and you did good respect to most of Europe. It would be nice to see how America would develop having never entered the war or if a Spanish Civil War would still happen given that there were a lot more underlying causes than communism and francoism.

I think a Spanish Civil War will definitely happen if the monarchy was overthrown by the Second Spanish Republic, but perhaps less ideologically charged and brutal.

As you concluded wholesome but highly unrealistic. As soon as the French saw that Alsace-Moselle wasn't reannexed to France, the government would been immediatly coup by a nationalist coalition.

Not exactly, the Alsace Lorraine issue had actually been decreasing in tension since 1880 and for France they probably would accept a peace without Alsace Lorraine given the Germans were sitting in French Territory.
Nha, the tensions on this problem were already decreasing in the 1880, and I assume that France would be very happy to see Lance Lorraine as not a part of Germany, and where it can also have significant influence in it.

Despite all the slander by people like the "Great war" channel, Conrad von Hötzendorf was not actually some insane lunatic incompetent, but a competent - if thoroughly middling - General and supreme commander. Given the circumstances, the Austro-Hungarian army under his leadership generally performed adequately for what it was.
If you actually want insane, incompetent and insanely incompetent, go for Luigi "insufficient offensive spirit" Cadorna and his 12 charges at the same highly defended spot, only to get completely crushed when the Germans counterattacked for number 13.

Which one? Sulleiman wasn't seriously planning on taking the city in 1529, and the later 1683 one may have succeeded, but the 40000(no counting the Poles) Hapsburg army could have just retaken the city after they left. And anyways the Ottomans were in decline by that time anyway.

Europe is dominated by France and the Ottomans, and without worrying too much about Europe, the Ottomans permanantly secure the fertile crescent and don't lose Egypt as fast, meaning they have a significant chance of being a sizeable colonial power in Africa.

What if Napoleon escaped to Brazil?
In 1817, 2 years had passed since Napoleon lost in waterloo and some revolutionaries from Pernambuco (state of Brazil in the Northeast) had an impossible plan to liberate napoleon from his exile in St helens. Since Napoleon was a admired not only by the French but by Revolutionaries and independent movements from south america that even the peruvians and chileans had discussed this before. The plan was that a Revolutionary known as "Cabugá" would go to the USA and buy some weapons to fight off the rule of Dom João VI of Portugal and would later recruit 4 french veterans. But when they arrived at the city of Recife (Recife is a city in Pernambuco that is a state of Brazil in the Northeast) The portuguese arrested the 4 french veterans and the plan would have never been continued.
But, what if it went different? What if Cabugá managed to recruit more french veterans? What if they did managed to rescue Napoleon?

Now what if the Generals decided to also participate in this Miracle and decided to make peace, even enforce that peace? I'll let that be the rewrite of what ended this war.
I belive Wilhelm himself would agree on piece like this (he mostly spoke about the peace, but as the ,,Shadow kaiser" he held little power during war.) Britain and France however would never agree on peace like this. They wanted to destroy Germany before it would be too powerfull. There was multiple occasions when Entate rejected faire peace without even looking at it.
I could see Britain, maybe. But France? Never.
