      @@MetubeUA-cam- I mean no disrespect when I say this, but people who know nothing about cholesterol ask this question a lot. What researchers are finding is that overall high cholesterol, as well as LDL mean very little. In fact, they’re now determining that a high LDL can be protective of the heart, especially as we age. What matters more is the triglyceride to HDL ratio. Another thing is statins are completely useless and lead to horrible side effects, including increased risk of Alzheimer’s. We have been lied to so much about cholesterol and saturated fat. No wonder 93% of American adults are metabolically unhealthy/insulin resistant.

    Im 28 and was eating a lot of sugar everyday and I also was having acne that appeared out of nowhere. I couldn’t figure out what was causing my acne. I exercised everyday ran about 4 miles everyday and I still couldn’t get my acne under control. I was on acne medication and nothing was helping. I checked my diet and realized I was eating a ton of sugar. I completely cut off sugar for a month and my acne started disappearing. It was hard because everything I thought was healthy had added sugar and included sugar but I did it through salads and healthy protein like plant. It’s been 3 month with no acne and my body also became less inflamed. I’m still going strong without sugar and it’s the best thing that ever happened to me.

      Easy. Throw your meat and veg in a pan. Cook. Done. Too hard ? Shove a bowl with (preferably) fatty cheap meat in a slow cooker, microwave or whatever else, push button, done. Just pick the cheapest meat you can find. It’s also the best for your health. Look up ‘carnivore’. Eat lots of eggs. That kills hunger and cravings. Don’t eat when not hungry. Cut out meals accordingly. You’ll become perfectly happy eating every so often in a short time needed to adapt. Adaptation can get weird but it passes.

    • @hannahwilson4820
      @hannahwilson4820 9 місяців тому +28

      If you start the day with a cold shower, some breath work (Gary recommends Wim Hof breathing which takes 10 minutes), feet on the earth (minimum 6 minutes), exposure to sunlight ideally first thing in the morning and some exercise to help oxygenate your system you can gain a lot of the benefits at zero cost. Get on a Paleo style diet and you’re a good chunk of the way there. You can check a few of the basic nutritional panels with your doctor such as vitamin D, zinc, magnesium, folate etc. The 10X testing protocols would certainly give a lot more personalised insights but there’s so much you can do at home under your own steam. Good luck!

    Lots of folks on here living with a victim mentality. I learned a long time ago anytime I start saying "I could never do that because xyz" I have officially made myself a victim and my limiting beliefs are going to keep me down. Anytime I find myself thinking like that, I know I'm not in a good mental space and I need to do some work!

    I guarantee if you don't like kale salad it is b/c you are making it wrong - the key is to massage it very very well with your dressing (a simple dressing: pour on organic olive oil, soya sauce (I use vegan soya replacement), fresh crushed garlic or organic garlic granuals (optional) and sea salt). Massage and massage and when you think you are done, massage it more. I've gotten kale HATERS to love kale salad.

    I agree with everything except sometimes you have to do what you can afford. I've lost 80lbs and reversed all my metabolic issues eating grocery store meats. If you can afford grass fed meat great! But if you can't do the next best thing.

    • @micaonyx5301

      I totally agree. I grew up in foster care and know the pain of being broke. I can now afford grass fed meats but none of my family and friends can. I love how these rich people make it and then become so far removed from the struggle of most people lives where buying crappy food is a struggle 😞

    Rich people don’t want to die and leave the wealth, they need to healthy to enjoy it … poor people have no choice … it’s a privilege to be wealthy people

    • @micaonyx5301

      Sorry but not wanting to die won't stop you from dying. The message is how you die. You can die of old age fit to the end or die a slow painful death in a nursing home being neglected. The message is you get to decide because you DON'T need all the fancy expensive things they do to be healthy 🤔

    Not sure why we assume that kale is good for us, especially since you would have to gag it down in order to eat it. That makes no sense. I'll stick with whole foods that don't repel me - and trust that my body knows better.

    Carnivore diet addictions become easier to overcome. Sugar kills. Glucose intake is not needed our bodies can make it through a process called gluconeogenisis making it with protein and fat. The family switch he’d a few months ago and we feel amazing my wife and I have leaned out and look and feel amazing. No working out just doing every day things we look fit. My kids look and feel great too. Sleep better and it’s like running on a full tank all day. No dips in energy.

    maybe the route would be taking a cold bath and sitting in it for the 3 to 6 minutes?! taking a cold shower, seems to be even a little harder because the water just keeps on pulsating on your body between the air and the water hitting you. It’s actually worse than just plunging in the tub and staying there. Lol my thoughts anyway.
