- Christianity in Iran dates back to the early years of the religion during the time of Jesus, predating Islam. The Christian faith has always comprised a minority in Iran under its previous state religions; initially Zoroastrianism in historical Persia, followed by Sunni Islam in the Middle Ages after the Arab conquest, and Shia Islam since the Safavid conversion of the 15th century; although it had a much larger representation in the past than it does today. Iranian Christians have played a significant part in the historical Christian mission: currently, there are at least 600 churches and 380,000-1,500,000 Christians in Iran.
In this video we are going to show you a Neighbourhood that Christians live there.

My parents are from Iran. There are also a few Assyrian churches in Tehran too. I have visited St Mary's Church in Tehran. Iran is beautiful and the people are lovely

What kind of changes have been happening in Iran since the protests 2 years ago? We didn’t hear much news here in America. My daughter is half Iranian. She has 4 sons . Her husband died last year. I have always loved the people of Iran. All the ones that were here in the 1970s we’re always so kind and hospitable and just beautiful people. I miss those years before your revolution in the 1970s. Why is there so much trash on the sidewalks? Don't they sweep and clean their store front every day? They could even plant some flowers in those empty strips of land around the trees. چرا زباله های زیادی در پیاده روها وجود دارد؟ آیا هر روز جلوی مغازه خود را جارو و تمیز نمی کنند؟ حتی می توانست چند گل در آن نوارهای خالی زمین اطراف درختان بکارد
بله این یکی از مهم ترین مشکلات در ایران است.
ما اینجا تو امریکا یه دو مدل کیک و چند مدل تخمی شیرینی بد مزه داریم بسیار بیخود و حتی کافی شاپهای امریکا در حد بسیار ضعیف فقط چند مدل کافی دارند و هیچ کیک و شیرینی ندارند 😢😢😢😢

Iran is such a nice country. In the news it is portrayed as a strict Islamic country, backward thinking and old fashioned but I see something totally different. A beautiful modern country with beautiful people that all live in peace and harmony despite their religion.
Also so many varied beautiful looking shops. I would love to travel to Iran and walk on one of those lovely streets.
