I appeal to my Indian technologists, please do it. We need it.
It is a very good DSLR at this price. This camera is very good for the begineers. The sensor is good, image colour is normal. It supports wifi so you can easily transfer photos to your smart phone. You can also click photos from your camera using your phone. So overall it is a very good camera for taking photos for beginners. But this camera is not so good for making videos.

Just to confirm I have this cam with me and i am able to connect external microphone separately it does have a external mic Jack along with hdmi and usb port
amazing video but i think so canon 1300d is good for videography the only and only drawback is flip able screen and recording voice with phone is way too easy as everyone has a phone and we can use mic with phone overall the wifi feature is best i take alot of selfies with the help of wifi.

Hi That camera struggled with video not only about mic jack, you don't have continuous AF here So always You have change focus manually or press shutter button, it's not good camera for filming, only one good feature is that short movies from 2 to 8 seconds connected together, If u guys want something to video better is any mirrorless or Canon 200d have dual pixel AF the best AF for movies at the moment
I'm just upgrade My Canon to Lumix Gx80 much more features :) pic quality is better sharper no AA filter and That Video 5 axis stabilization plus from the lens :)

Your lens is different to mine, I have the 1300d also but my lens is smaller (but still18-55, they are identical lenses but yours is bigger, why is this? Thank you!) I am a beginner btw
Huh, seems odd a newer model would have a smaller lens. My camera is probably about 2 years old now though, it’s my companies camera but I have only been using it for a while, maybe my one is the older model and yours is newer, hence the lens upgrade? Or maybe smaller is an upgrade if they are the same but they made it a smaller form factor? I dunno 😅 Thanks for replying though! :)

Guys 700D is discontinued. Go for the 200D instead. It's a very good camera for the price.

Like a set a timer of 10 secs
Stand in front of the camera and fix the focus
Then I start recording
Use a laptop to connect to it and you can see your self in this camera. You might have to down load software from the cannon site.
