My son sent me this song after witnessing 18 of 23 yrs with his Dad. I wish I could say I finally got strong & left after being abused for 2decades in every way possible...But I didn't. After his "2nd known" affair he left us & finally destroyed our family. My 18 yr old was put in a position he never should have been as my friend & only support system. To anyone living in a narcissistic abusive relationship please be better than I was, please leave. I know it is so hard. But you do not suffer alone, your children not only suffer with you but witnessing your abuse changes who they are forever.
This song gives me full body chills. I personally know how the devil truly does not bargain, and I’m so glad to get out of that cycle. I hope more people going through this can hear it, and have a moment of clarity for themselves. If nothing else they get a few minutes of beautiful music so hopefully a few minutes of personal peace 💗

I know it’s not likely that you’ll see this or even if you see it that it’ll make much of a difference but I’ll say it anyway. Like many others, I struggle with sewer slide thoughts. And music is one of my saviors but that doesn’t change the fact that there isn’t a song I can always go to for comfort specifically for those thoughts. Idk if you would be willing to do this as you don’t know me nor I you but your music has always been a lifesaver for me and it would be amazing if you someday wrote something to comfort those of use with these thoughts. Something to remind us of the things that keep us going. Something to emphasize why we shouldn’t throw our lives away. I know it’s not likely that you’ll see this or even if you see it that it’ll make much of a difference but I’ll say it anyway. Like many others, I struggle with sewer slide thoughts. And music is one of my saviors but that doesn’t change the fact that there isn’t a song I can always go to for comfort specifically for those thoughts. Idk if you would be willing to do this as you don’t know me nor I you but your music has always been a lifesaver for me and it would be amazing if you someday wrote something to comfort those of use with these thoughts. Something to remind us of the things that keep us going. Something to emphasize why we shouldn’t throw our lives away.
