Sadly, this song reminds me of my relationship with my mom and sister. I've always been the black sheep, the one who's seen as the odd man out, and the one who is always blamed then tossed to the side when things get rough. If not for my nieces and nephews I would have cut them off years ago. Just happy to see that my eldest niece is at the age where she sees how I'm treated and is on my side.
I'm really sorry to hear. Like the saying goes, you can pick your friends but not your family, rings so true here. Whatever happens make sure you do you and what gives you the least amount of stress.

When I first heard this song I thought it was about murdering someone for the person you love, or murdering someone just to get the person you love. but after understanding the lyrics, "you have to undestand that, the one I killed is me" (2:11) is just heartbreaking :( imagine loving someone very hard that you are willing to change yourself just for them to love you back. That's just sad.. people can love, but please don't lose yourself on the way.. know that there's always someone out there that will love you for who you are.

What if the song isn't about him killing people for a girl, This a song about him killing himself metaforicly, changing himself for what she wanted him to be. I know it is literally in the lyrics but I didn't realise this and I know that a lot of people don't know.
