Nice video of the festivities, Wayne! I still remember the Loy Krathong festival back in 2012 when the city was full of happy people, the river was full of Krathong floats and the sky over Chiang Mai was packed with those flying lanterns. I think it's the most magic moment I ever had in Thailand, or maybe all my life.
I rather be in Thailand at Loy Krathong than Songkran.

Loy Krathong takes place on the twelfth month in the lunar calendar. Thai people let off lanterns and Krathongs in the water to celebrate the goddess of water.
