Loy Krathong Festival & Celebration 2019 Chiang Mai Thailand 4K

Stunning Lantern Festival (Loi Krathong or Yi/Yee Peng) In Chiang Mai. Every year for the November full moon, million of lanterns are released into the sky of Chiang Mai, while candles are lighten up all around the city. It's also the time for Krathongs (floating baskets of flowers pinned into a piece of banana trunk) to be floated on the Ping River Chiang Mai every year in November.

It is Loi Krathong AND Yi/Yee Peng. This are two different festivals"!!!
Loi Krathong is celebrated all over Thailand, the Yee Peng Festival only in northern regions of Thailand
